Strengthen your back!
Here are three great ways to strengthen your back and give the support it needs.
1) Superman holds: great for engaging the entire posterior chain. This works multiple muscles from the lumbar and thoracic erector spinae to the glutes, hamstrings and lats.
2) Diaphragmatic breathing: this is an essential skill to master to have your core functioning well. Try to have as little movement happen in your chest as possible, as you breath into your stomach and low back
3) Jefferson curls: this exercise is a great mixture of strength and mobility. The aim of this is not to do as heavy as possible but to slowly let each segment of the spine from the neck down to the pelvis flex forward before slowly working your way back up.
