Look. Feel. Check. Book.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, here is a reminder that regular screenings and self-checks can make all the difference. Early detection saves lives.

A self examination only takes a couple of minutes:
💗 Look for any changes in shape, size, or skin texture
💗 Feel for lumps or thickened areas in and around your breasts, armpits, and collarbone
💗 If something feels different, don’t wait. Book a check with your GP.

When to book a mammogram:
💗 Every 2 years for women aged 40 and over
💗 Sooner if you have a family history of breast cancer

Your GP can guide you on when to start screening and what’s right for you.
