Does your loved one qualify for Community Access support within their NDIS plan?

Often simply referred to as ‘community access’, this support provides individuals with disabilities (i.e. ‘NDIS participants’) with the means to engage with the community. This may include assisting participants with private or public transport needs, attending appointments, events or recreational activities, carrying out errands such as shopping, and developing and maintaining social ties within the community.

Today is International Asperger’s Day!

The day celebrates those individuals living with Asperger’s and aims to raise awareness of the condition, through both highlighting the challenges faced by people living with Asperger’s as well as educating the community on was to be supportive and inclusive of people with Asperger’s.
