Some of the richest people I know.

They don’t look rich in the way we’re taught to recognize it. No flashy success, no big titles, no obvious signs of “having made it.”

But spend a little time with them and you realize they’re surrounded by something far more valuable.

They have people. People who call just to check in. People who show up, even when it’s inconvenient.

Their homes might be small, but they’re full of conversation, shared meals, inside jokes, and long pauses that don’t feel awkward. They laugh easily. They listen without rushing. They remember the small things.

Their wealth shows up in quiet ways. In the way they make room for others. In how they forgive quickly and hold grudges lightly. In how they give without keeping score.

They don’t measure life by what they own, but by who they can count on, and who can count on them.

I’ve noticed they don’t chase happiness. They build it slowly, through relationships. They understand that love isn’t something you find once and keep forever, it’s something you practice, you mess up, you repair, and choose again.

In a world that constantly tells us more is better, they live by a different perspective. One where connection matters more than their bank account.

And the longer I live, the more I’m convinced they’re the ones who’ve got it all figured out.
