Super excited for our brand new class this Thursday night (AEDT - check your time zone) with guest coach 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Caitlyn will be guiding us through a 15min practice to help us relax and restore calm to our nervous system. Therapeutic Applied Percussion (T.A.P) is a tool that combines simple breathwork, mantra and tapping to process any stress in the body.

It really is a truly peaceful and calming way to end the day 💛

Caitlyn is an award-winning life coach, certified T.A.P provider, matrescence coach and nurse. She’s also a mum to 2 boys and loves supporting other mums to thrive so their children can thrive. Not only that, Caitlyn is one of our original MyndGym members 🧠💪🏻

🔋What GIVES you energy? (think of these as deposits in your energetic bank account)

Take a moment to think about everything that gives you energy. What are the places? The people? The activities? The sounds? The smells? The foods? The environmental factors? What are all of the things you notice that give you a little energy boost?

🪫What DRAINS your energy? (think of these as withdrawals from your energetic bank account)

Now let’s do the same with the things that deplete your energy. What are the places? The people? The activities? The sounds? The smells? The foods? The environmental factors? What are all of the things you notice that bring your energy down a notch?

💰What’s ONE thing you can do today to make a deposit in your energetic bank account?

It could be absolutely anything. Turning up the volume on one of your favourite songs. Going to your local cafe. Decluttering your space. Calling a friend who’s always encouraging. Deleting some apps. Heading out for a walk. Taking a cold shower. Taking a warm shower. Having a nap. The key to making positive changes in your wellbeing always starts with self-awareness. As much as the wellness industry might make you feel like there’s a list of things you need to be doing to have optimal levels of wellbeing, the truth is, it’s never a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person’s wellbeing code will be different.

Ready for a 180? There’s 180 days left in the year, so let’s map them out together!

This Sunday afternoon, MyndGym is hosting a 180 Mapping workshop, where you can reflect and create a vision (and a plan) for what you want for the next 6 months of this year and where you want to direct (or re-direct) your precious time, energy and focus.

This FREE workshop will begin with a series of questions and prompts, and your answers will become the building blocks of your plan for the rest of the year. Together we will map out the rest of 2025 in a way that feels motivating, hopeful, practical and completely YOU.

There will also be time for questions and for you to receive coaching on any obstacles - whether external or internal - that may be standing in your way, or causing some tension.

As always with our MyndGym classes, we are here for ALL brains and we support you to show up in whatever way works for you. If you want to come along with your video off, mic on mute and quietly do your own thing that is perfectly ok. And if you want to have your video on, ask a question or engage in the chat, that’s also celebrated. ALL ways of showing up are valid and you never have to question if you’re doing this ‘right’. Because what feels right for you, is right.

This is EXACTLY what we wanted to hear.

On the 7th of April, we began a 3-week testing period for MyndGym. We had a launch date of May 1st in mynd, but we needed to really test the app and the classes and make sure what we had created was the experience we wanted it to be.

We were incredibly lucky to have a group of 50 people test it for us. During that time, we ran 55 classes and asked people to give us their feedback.

Everything from how easy it was to sign-up to the app, what the experience was like signing up for a class, whether they appreciated the length and timing of the classes, what they thought of the content that was offered, as well as the variety of classes and how it all flowed. We wanted to know how they felt after each class and whether there were things they thought we should change or add.

To say we were THRILLED with the feedback would be an understatement.

These comments are just a small sample from the feedback survey we sent to them.

When you’re creating something that’s never been done before and you hold a vision for it in your mynd and in your heart, it’s a HUGE thing to test it out and ask for feedback - talk about feeling exposed and vulnerable!

We could not be more PROUD that it was received with open arms in the way we were hoping and that everyone LOVED the experience.

Allow us to introduce ourselves 👋 [hopefully a bit better than a 5yr old telling Mr. Kimble what their daddy does]

We are MyndGym. We’re an online mental fitness gym. And before you say - sorry what? We know we’ve got some explaining to do [turns out when you’re the first in the world at something, you need to explain yourself a bit more ].

For the practical people out there - we offer live, daily classes online [aka from the comfort of your own home, or even bed, we’re not judging] in journaling, meditation, breathwork, body doubling [we’re here for ALL brains] and coaching.

Every class is 15-20 mins [so you can fit them in] and they help with all kinds of things, that we call mental and emotional fitness [improving focus, processing emotions, managing stress and anxiety, regulating your nervous system, building self-compassion, creating positive habits, planning your day, overcoming procrastination, shifting your mindset, boosting your mood].

But what we really are is a place to make you feel good and ease your mental load so your brain can take an exhale. A place for you to show up to, and take a mini moment for the things you want to do [because you know they matter and you feel good when you do them] but usually get pushed to the side [life be lifeing].

We’re here to encourage you, support you, motivate you [think of us like your own Ted Lasso] and put into practice together [in real time] the tools from psychology, positive psychology and neuroscience that can really make a difference to how you experience your day [and therefore your LIFE].

And we’re here to CONNECT. Because guess what? We’re not supposed to do any of this alone.

When people ask me WHY I created MyndGym or what this thing is all about, there are 4 main things that come to mynd…

1️⃣ I wanted to create a space where we can do simple things to improve our mental and emotional fitness together. Mini moments in your day where you can show up and be supported. We all KNOW the things that are good for us to do, but there’s a reason why we can’t be like a Nike slogan and ‘Just Do It’. We need each other. A community. A place to be encouraged and held accountable. A place to show up to and do the things we don’t make time for.

2️⃣ I wanted to make people’s lives feel better by easing their mental load. MyndGym isn’t about self-improvement or adding another thing to your to-do list - it exists to make that to-do list more manageable. You get to show up exactly as you are, knowing that you don’t need to change anything or prepare anything. It’s our goal that you’ll leave our classes feeling better than you did before them and wondering - where has this been all my life?

3️⃣ I wanted to create mental health support that didn’t cost a fortune! We aren’t a replacement for therapy or other counselling services (we love therapy!), but there are so many things we can be doing to exercise our mental fitness on a daily basis and I wanted to make that accessible to everyone.

4️⃣ I wanted to create something that supported ALL brains and that helped whether you were struggling and experiencing difficult times, or whether you were doing well and wanting to leverage what was working in your life. Mental fitness is about strengthening our mynds to adapt to whatever we’re experiencing in healthy ways - whether it’s good times or bad or anything in between.

So when I asked our members for feedback about their MyndGym experience so far, and they hit on the EXACT reasons why I created this place to begin with, it made me want to get up and dance around my living room (and don’t worry, I did 🕺).
