🚒🔥 A big day of learning and fun! 🔥🚒

We had a fantastic visit from Windsor Fire & Rescue last week, who came to chat with our residents about fire safety and what to do in an emergency. It was a great opportunity to learn some important tips and ask questions.

The highlight of the day? Some of our residents even got to have a go with the fire hose – lots of smiles and laughter all around!

Thank you to the amazing team at Fire and Rescue NSW Station 081 Windsor. for taking the time to visit and make the experience so engaging and enjoyable. 👏

🐰✨ A very special visitor hopped in to see our residents this Easter! ✨🐰

The Easter Bunny made a surprise visit, spreading smiles and delivering delicious chocolate treats to everyone. It was such a joyful moment and brought so much happiness to our residents.

🍫👩‍🍳 Cooking Crew Fun! 👩‍🍳🍫

Lisa and Ellie have been busy in the kitchen whipping up some delicious Tim Tam chocolate balls – and they looked amazing!

We’re also excited to welcome Ellie as she steps into Mary’s spot in the cooking crew. We’re so happy to have you on board, Ellie!

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Shane from Morgan Acoustics to our home for a session of interactive music therapy 🎶

Our residents had a great time singing along, tapping to the rhythm, and enjoying the uplifting atmosphere that live music brings.

Last week we came together to celebrate Harmony Day, recognising and embracing the wonderful diversity within our home 🌏🧡

It was a beautiful opportunity for residents and staff to share stories, cultures, and traditions, highlighting what makes each of us unique while celebrating the sense of belonging we all share. The room was filled with warmth, connection, and plenty of smiles as everyone joined in the spirit of the day.

As part of the celebration, residents created a beautiful artwork featuring a tree, using paint and colourful handprints to represent each person and the diversity of our community. It was a meaningful and creative way to capture the spirit of Harmony Day.

Harmony Day is a special reminder that everyone belongs, and we are proud to create a community where respect, inclusivity, and friendship are at the heart of everything we do 💛

Last week we had a fantastic time celebrating St Patrick’s Day here at our home ☘️

The day was filled with lots of green, plenty of laughter, and wonderful moments shared between residents and staff. From festive decorations to great music and cheerful spirits, it was lovely to see everyone getting involved and embracing the celebrations.

There were smiles all around as we enjoyed the fun atmosphere together 💚

Before we said our goodbyes to Mary, we held a very special cooking class—Mary and Lisa’s last one together before Mary’s farewell 💛

With the wonderful help of our volunteers, Lyn and Joy, residents enjoyed a fun and hands-on session making some delicious apple cookies. The room was filled with the sweet smell of baking, plenty of laughter, and lots of smiles as everyone got involved.

It was a lovely way to celebrate not only the joy of cooking, but also the friendships and memories created along the way. Mary’s passion and care shone through in every class, and this final session was no exception.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a warm and memorable occasion—and of course, the apple cookies were absolutely delicious! 🍏🍪

Our social media may have been a little quiet lately, but rest assured things have been anything but quiet here! Our residents and staff have been busy as ever, sharing lots of special moments, activities, and laughter together 💙

On the 13th of March, we said a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful Kitchen Manager, Mary, as she begins a new and exciting chapter in her life. Mary has been such a valued part of our community and will be deeply missed by staff, residents, and families alike. Her warmth, dedication, and the care she put into everything she did made a lasting impact on us all. Thank you, Mary, for everything—you will always be part of our family 💐

At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Ellie as our new Kitchen Manager! Many of you will already know Ellie, who has been part of our journey before. Ellie originally taught Mary and later moved into an Area Manager role—but she just couldn’t stay away! We are so lucky to have her back on board, and we know she will continue to bring her passion and experience to the role.

Please join us in wishing Mary all the very best and giving Ellie a warm welcome back! 💛

We had some very special visitors last week! 🐾

Our residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed a visit from RuffTRACK and their wonderful Paws for Healing program. Remi, Tux and Henry quickly stole everyone’s hearts, bringing plenty of smiles, pats and cuddles along the way.

Animal visits like these create such a warm and joyful atmosphere, and it was clear just how much happiness these three beautiful dogs brought to our home. Thank you to RuffTRACK and their amazing pups for brightening our day! 🐶💛
