Come and see what we do and how much we love our job!! At Wise OT Solutions we have a wealth of experience managing catastrophic injuries in the Workers Care, LTCS and CTP schemes. We complete functional retraining and get people back to their daily life after complex cognitive and physical injuries such as traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputations and burns. Our team of OT’s can provide cognitive retraining, upper limb therapy, assessment for equipment and home modifications.

Director Liz Brownlee and OT Jess McGrath teamed up on a complex client visit, bringing together their skills and expertise to support the best outcome for their client.

After the visit, they found this cute general store to grab a sandwich, debrief, reflect, and plan next steps.

Liz was pretty stoked to find some homemade passata to take home for her bolognaise too. 🍝

Meet Britt!

Britt is one of our go-to OTs for complex neurological rehab, supporting clients following brain and spinal cord injuries to live more independently after their accidents.

She also leads our Driver Rehabilitation Service, supporting clients through one of the biggest milestones after injury — returning to driving.

Through assessments, vehicle modifications, and rehabilitation, Britt helps open doors to independence that many thought were closed. 🚗

We’re incredibly proud to have Britt’s experience, innovation, and heart on the Wise OT team 💜💛

Disability doesn’t start with equipment or diagnoses. ♿️

It starts with everyday moments most people never have to think twice about.

After severe physical injury, daily life can change in an instant — and the world isn’t always designed to meet people where they are.

As Occupational Therapists, our role isn’t to “fix” people. It’s to listen, adapt, problem-solve, and walk alongside them as they rebuild routines, confidence, and independence in ways that matter to them.

That might look like:
Finding new ways to move safely at home 🏡
Modifying environments to support function and dignity ♿️
Supporting return to meaningful roles — parent, worker, friend 🤝
Breaking complex challenges into achievable steps 🪜

On Physical Disability Awareness Day, we recognise the strength, resilience, and individuality of people living with physical disability and the importance of care that is practical, respectful, and human.
