The last few months

A mixture my favourite things that keep me satisfied

- Finding the best Matcha spot (it’s so hyped now, you can’t find an OG)

- Celebrating life with my wife

- Work wins as we conquer ACL milestones to returning back to sport after 12 months of recovery

- Connecting with runners around Sydney

The goal isn’t to feel just “okay”
It’s rebuilding capacity, confidence and trust in moving again

This is why the gym matters.
The load is intentional.

The weight is prescribed. Not guessed.
Progression is planned. Not random

Anyone can be told to “go strengthen it”

Rehab should lead somewhere. And this is what it looks like.

Kelly is an everyday runner who wanted clarity with her knee pain

Runner and injured?

With the right understanding, you can still train whilst managing your injury. Most of them (unless red flag style injury)

As a physio, I see injured runners. The issue is you run with no structure. More by peer pressure and runner’s high.

Ideally, I enjoy seeing runners inspire each other.

That’s why I want to create progressive plans for you to follow!

Strength training is NOT single leg workouts

A lot of runners are under-dosing the stimulus, afraid to be sore for a run or don’t want to do it because it’s hard

Balancing heavy lifting the appropriate way AND stability work will help you become more a resilient runner

Our objective is to help you manage injuries and strategically keep you running

The most successful runners I’ve worked with are the ones who can stay free from significant injuries

Look at your STRAVA graph.
If it’s a rollercoaster, you may be frustrated with your progress so try to train harder or more to perform better…

That doesn’t work. If anything, you’re hurting yourself more!

Minimal effective dose for training x3 sessions per week - this allows your body to recover and adapt to the stimulus you’ve placed on it

Ultimately making you more efficient in running again

So it’s not a badge of honour to say you run all the time and through pain

Actually more smarter to say, “I’m chill with a rest day today”
