In Guangzhou 3025 – Connected Futures, 1,600 children from 15 schools imagined a sustainable, inclusive, and creative city of the future. 💚

Through hands-on architecture and design, they created over 1,000 models — from Treehouse Villages to Solar Pods — showcased in the Future Living City Exhibition. 🏙️

🏆 Arkki Hungary wins the prestigious Edison100 Award in the Science category, recognizing our unique education concept where children learn by connecting STEAM, humanities, and sciences through architecture.

🇹🇭 Arkki expands in Thailand — Edu+Craft Learning Studio joins the Arkki International family to empower children to dream, design, and create the future.

🌏 Future Guangzhou 3025 launched in China! Children from 4 countries are reimagining Guangzhou 1,000 years from now — exploring well-being, ecosystems, and smart urban systems. The journey will end with a public exhibition in October.

💚 And a milestone: Arkki Guangzhou has reached 1 million likes on WeChat!

Arkki Hungary has been awarded the Edison100 Award in the Science category in Hungary. Granted annually by Edisonplatform, the award highlights the country’s most innovative and impactful educational initiatives for children and youth.

💚 On 10 September, Arkki was honored in Hungary’s prestigious Edison100 competition, which celebrates the most innovative and impactful educational initiatives shaping the future of learning. 💚

This recognition highlights Arkki’s mission to empower children and young people through creative education in architecture and design, nurturing 21st-century skills, problem-solving, and imagination.

The expert jury took into account the following aspects: "innovative in scope, methodology and approach; develops skills and knowledge relevant to preparing children for the future, and makes a real impact.” 🎉🎊

💚Hálásan köszönjük mindenkinek, aki segített nekünk ezen az úton, folytatjuk a munkánkat, hogy segítsük a gyerekeket és a fiatalokat abban, hogy tudatos, a környezetére figyelő, és azt értő felnőtté váljanak.

Annyi csodás emberrel ismerkedtünk meg ebben a közösségben - szeretettel gratulálunk a díjazottaknak és mindenkire nagy szeretettel gondolunk, aki azon fáradozik, hogy a gyerekeket felkészítse a jövőre.

Az Edisonplatform szerint a gyerekeknek (és valljuk be, nekünk, szülőknek is) óriási szükségük van az alábbi 12 kompetenciára a jövőben: irányítás, alkalmazkodókészség, önismeret, kommunikáció, szociális-és kulturális nyitottság, együttműködés, kitartás, problémamegoldás, kezdeményezőkészség, kíváncsiság, kreativitás, kritikai gondolkodás.
A jó hír, hogy a foglalkozásainkon ezek mindegyikében fejlődni tudnak a gyerekek!

A gyerekek természetüktől fogva kíváncsiak. Az Arkki projektek elkészítése során gyakorolhatják a kritikai gondolkodást, a kreatív problémamegoldást, az önismeretet – csapatmunka esetén pedig az irányítást, együttműködést, alkalmazkodókészséget és a kommunikációt. Népi építészeti projektjeink támogatják a gyerekek szociális-és kulturális nyitottságát, megismertetik őket ismeretlen népcsoportok fantasztikus találmányaival.
A félév során a gyerekek megtanulnak kitartóan dolgozni és gyorsan megértik, hogy minden nem működő prototípus csupán egy lépés a fejlődés felé.
