Hungry? It’s not just a growling stomach.
Or something you’re supposed to ignore because you “just ate.”

But hunger isn’t a character flaw.
It’s a body signal.

When you ignore or override these signals, a few things happen:
Blood sugar dips → hello fatigue, irritability, and cravings.

Hormones get out of sync → ghrelin (hunger hormone) rises, leptin (fullness hormone) drops.

Mood tanks → hangry isn’t no joke people.

Digestion slows → your body tries to conserve energy.

Brain fog creeps in → making food decisions even harder.

Then you try to tough it out, the pendulum swings the other way.

And just like that, you’re stuck in a loop:
Ignore hunger → body signals get stronger → anxiety around food → ignore again.

Your hunger cues aren’t the problem.

They’re your body’s way of telling you what it needs to function, thrive, and feel good.

Learning how to respond to hunger consistently is one of the biggest steps finding your sweet spot with good.

And it’s exactly what we help people rebuild.

Bloated. Constipated. Reflux out of nowhere.

Only to be told it’s “just IBS”.
Or that your gut is “sensitive.”

Sometimes it’s not your gut being dramatic.
It’s your body not getting enough food.

Your digestive system thrives on consistency, not deprivation.

When food is consistent or not enough, a few things happen:

Digestion slows to conserve energy → hello bloating and sluggish bowels.

Stomach acid and digestive enzymes drop → harder to break food down.

Fibre intake usually drops → constipation and uncomfortable poops.

Stress hormones rise → fight or flight mode, which disrupts digestion.

Your gut microbes get underfed → impacting digestion, immunity and even mood.

Then you try to eat a “normal” meal... and you feel worse.

And just like that, you’re stuck in a loop:

Less food → more symptoms → more fear → even less food.

Your body is trying to survive on not enough.

If your digestion has felt off and you’re someone who accidentally turns breakfast into a coffee... that’s not a coincidence.

We help you rebuild consistency so your gut can actually do its job again.

Just because the people around you don’t eat much
doesn’t mean you shouldn’t either.

Friends skipping meals.

Family who are “not really snack people.”

Colleagues running on coffee and chaos.

It’s easy to look around and think you must be doing too much.
You’re not.

Comparing your eating to other people’s is a fast track to making recovery way harder than it needs to be.

Your context is different.
Your body is different.
Your needs are different.

And your body genuinely does not care what anyone else is eating.

It only cares that you eat. Regularly. Enough. Including snacks.

Diet culture loves to normalise pushing hunger aside and calling it discipline.

Recovery asks you to do the opposite.

Even when it feels uncomfortable.

Even when it goes against what looks “normal.”

This isn’t a personal failure.
It’s diet culture being loud.

If you’re stuck comparing, restricting, or second-guessing yourself around food, you don’t have to figure this out alone.

💬 DM us “FREEDOM” and let’s help you find your sweet spot with food.

We are a new voice in a traditionally conservative space and are proof that relatability and professionalism can coexist.

It’s our mission to work relentlessly to destigmatise conversations surrounding disordered eating until we arrive at a place where it’s cool to reject the harmful influence of diet culture.

Our hope?

That you are inspired to join us in embracing a more inclusive, compassionate and empowering approach to finding your sweet spot with food and your body
