🦷 Smart aligners that adapt themselves - already a reality.

Researchers Islam Atta, Christoph Bourauel, Yasmine Alkabani, and Hoon Kim are studying the 3D-printed polymer TC‑85 with shape-memory properties.
It changes shape at mouth temperature, gently moving teeth and reducing discomfort.

Tests show that the forces generated by TC‑85 are safe and effective, and the material is already being used by Graphy Inc (Korea).

💡 The result: fewer orthodontic visits, more comfortable treatment, and adaptive aligners bringing us closer to the perfect smile.
