Health and fitness is a lifestyle and never a quick fix. We teach you the fundamental tools to incorporate healthy habits and effective exercise into your life. We want to educate you so that you can make the best decisions for yourself, family and friends in regards to your health. We offer one on one and small group training (including Mum's & Bub's). Note that for now rehab clients will be on a one on one format (it allows for better care and faster progress). If your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, muscle tone, improve strength/flexibility/mobility/posture or increase your energy levels then don't delay, call us now!

I am totally guilty of this and need constant reminder myself.

Take some time to look back at what you have accomplished and gone through. It feels good.

It’s ok if you have come short of a few goals. Acknowledge that you have started the process or that you have put in the work. If not, well that’s a learning lesson to plan next year better. 😉

Size does matter.

Go heavy and low reps if you want to get stronger, build muscle and fight off osteoporosis.

Heavy is a relative term to you 😉

1. Most people bring their hips to their heels and that really reduces the amount of power you can generate as you will have to use your quads and can’t engage your hamstrings and glutes as much.
Think about a deadlift position, with you hips a bit further away from your heels.

2. Finish the pull! Legs - hips and then arms. If you get this order all mixed up, you will end up pulling with your arms as you are already starting to bend the legs again. Once you finish the pull, release the arms immediately and follow the handle to go back.

Slow down your rowing for a bit if you want to change your technique. It’s worth it.

Cat used to have neck/shoulder pain and now she can do push-ups!

Her shoulder mechanics was all messed up, she could only create a safe and stable position for her shoulder by engaging her traps. Which meant, the next day, she would have some neck/shoulder pain.

We had to start by creating awareness towards the right muscles (mostly pec major, teres minor and lats) before strengthening them. It was a slow process, she put her trust into me and stuck with it, now she can do push-ups (with the right tension). 💪

Fix your diet first and the quality of the food you eat before taking anything!

If I was to recommend anything at all it would be creatine (monohydrate).

Supplements company have such strong marketing, please don’t fall for it, anything that works well is usually because it contains illegal substances in it and will often end up banned over time 😂. Another issue is the use of fillers, low quality or even not having the claimed amounts inside 🤦‍♂️.

Happy to answer any questions, don’t waste your money and even potentially risk your health.
