cupcakes are my passion

Having 3 daughters, we can all appreciate that we want to spoil them with a magnificent birthday cake for that special time or surprise some one with that edible gift that not only looks amazing but tastes even better.

Are you sick and tired of spending so much money on cakes that no-one eats? I sure am. Not only do I love to bake and create, I really enjoy it, I love to see the look on ones face and hear that “mmmmm” “yumm”

Starting off as a hobby baker, I have been encouraged by family and friends to let everyone else see what the fuss is about. I have been self taught and still learning. Every day is a new experience and I love it.

Cakes by Mrs G is all about the simple yet clever way to get that wow factor without all the added extras! I like to keep it simple and elegant, tasty and cost efficient. My main focus is cupcakes and cakes. I use Swiss meringue Buttercream to cover my cakes, not sickly sweet and that way you get to eat your piece inside and out.
