There’s no shame in talking it out. Reaching out for support is one of the bravest things you can do. 💚

Anything better than getting messy with paint in between studying for hsc? ✨🎨🤩

We were with .tyler.artist for last week hosting the Ride the Wave art program at Rockdale Library. It was great to see so many young people have a break, enjoy a cinnamon donut and get creative.

A huge thank you to .tyler.artist who has been working tirelessly in making all the art come to life in a bookmark format, so keep an eye out for that!

Thank you, BlueFit Hurstville! 🩵🤩

Throughout August, we were lucky to be part of BlueFit’s Get Fit, Give Back campaign. For every 6-month membership sold, $100 was donated to a local Community Partner, and we’re so grateful to have been one of them.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of the team at Hurstville Aquatic Centre, an amazing $4,200 was raised for headspace Hurstville. We truly can’t thank you enough for your generosity and support.

The BlueFit Health Club at Hurstville is a warm, welcoming fitness hub offering gym memberships, group classes, personal training. Engaging in exercise can benefit your mental health as well as physical health, so check them out! 💪🏼

Your support helps us continue to make a difference in the lives of young people in our community.

Last Wednesday, we had the pleasure of welcoming MP Ash Ambihaipahar, along with Ben and Neha from the NSW Council of Social Service (NCOSS), and Sharlene from Allawaw to headspace Hurstville.

We shared insights into a young person’s journey through headspace, and in return, learned more about the incredible work Ash and his team are doing to support youth in our community. Sharlene provided an important acknowledgement of country. The NCOSS team also delivered a powerful presentation on their End Child Poverty campaign, highlighting poverty rates across NSW, barriers to healthcare access, and how we can work together to close the gaps in care.

A big thanks as well to Jenni from our Lead Agency, Stride, for joining us on the day. We’re grateful to everyone and our staff and YRG who took the time to visit, share their knowledge, and contribute to important conversations.
