Scientists Discover That Your hands are glowing in ways science just proved
For centuries, people have believed in the power of healing through touch. Skeptics dismissed it as superstition or mysticism. But now scientists have discovered that the human body actually emits faint light from its fingertips. This revelation turns ancient practices into biological reality, proving that the energy we feel during healing is not magic, it’s a real, measurable phenomenon.
Researchers measured this biophoton emission and found it’s strongest in the hands, especially during moments of focus or intention. The light is invisible to the naked eye but detectable with sensitive instruments, suggesting that our bodies communicate subtle energy in ways we never imagined. What once seemed spiritual now has a scientific explanation rooted in our very biology.
The implications are profound. Healing practices, meditation, and energy work may have real physiological effects, not just psychological benefits. Understanding this light could lead to new therapies, stress-reduction techniques, and ways to enhance human connection. It reminds us that the body is more powerful and mysterious than we often give it credit for.
This discovery reshapes how we see ourselves, merging science and ancient wisdom. The human body is not just flesh and bone, it’s a subtle, luminous system capable of extraordinary interaction with the world around it. As research continues, we are only beginning to uncover the hidden light within each of us and the ways it can touch the lives of others.

The Woman Who Built the Universe We Read
Her name was Judy-Lynn del Rey. She was born in New York City in 1943 with achondroplastic dwarfism, and she grew up doing what dreamers do — disappearing into libraries, consuming science fiction novels the way other children consumed air. To her, those pages weren't escapism. They were blueprints.
She started at the bottom, the way most great people do.
In 1965, she took a job as an office assistant at Galaxy Science Fiction — one of the most respected magazines in the genre. She answered phones. She filed papers. She listened to everything. And within four years, she had risen to Associate Editor — not because of connections, but because of an almost supernatural ability to recognize what a story needed and what an audience was hungry for.
In 1973, Ballantine Books called. Science fiction was considered niche. Fantasy was seen as a quirky accident — Tolkien had sold, but nobody could explain why, and nobody was in a hurry to find out. Judy-Lynn thought that kind of thinking was cowardice dressed up as caution.
Her first bold move was costly. She cut ties with John Norman's Gor novels — a profitable series widely criticized for misogyny. It earned her enemies. She didn't mind. She believed that no amount of sales could justify intellectual rot.
Then came the project that would define an era.
A space adventure film called Star Wars was heading to theaters. Hollywood wasn't convinced it would work. Most publishers passed. Judy-Lynn saw the concept, looked at the artwork, and reportedly ran straight into the president's office saying, "Ron, we are going to make millions."
She was right. The novelization sold 4.5 million copies in under five months — before the film even opened. Audiences walked into theaters already knowing the story. She hadn't just published a book. She had built the on-ramp.
In 1977, she launched Del Rey Books, bringing in her husband Lester to develop the fantasy line she believed had been criminally underestimated. Their first novel, The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks, became a sensation — proving that fantasy could sit on the same mainstream shelves as any bestseller. She then championed Stephen R. Donaldson's Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, a psychologically complex fantasy trilogy from a completely unknown author — publishing all three books simultaneously, an act considered unprecedented and audacious at the time.
She saved The Princess Bride from out-of-print obscurity with a brilliant new cover and marketing campaign. Without her intervention, there would have been no beloved 1987 film.
She published Anne McCaffrey's The White Dragon — and it became the first science fiction novel ever to reach number one on the New York Times bestseller list. A milestone made by a woman editor, for a woman author, in a world that had told both of them to stay in their lane.
Between 1977 and 1990, Del Rey Books placed 65 titles on bestseller lists — more than every other science fiction and fantasy publisher combined.
Arthur C. Clarke, one of the greatest science fiction minds who ever lived, called her the most brilliant editor he had ever encountered. Philip K. Dick compared her to Maxwell Perkins — the legendary editor of Hemingway and Fitzgerald.
And yet, she was never nominated for a Hugo Award while she was alive. Not once.
In October 1985, she suffered a brain hemorrhage. She passed away on February 20, 1986, at just 43 years old. The Hugo committee voted to give her a posthumous award that year. Her husband, Lester, declined it on her behalf — because Judy-Lynn, he said, would have rejected any award given out of sympathy rather than recognition.
Even in death, she had standards.
She never sought fame. She sought great stories. She found them in the galaxies others overlooked — in the dragons people dismissed, in the space operas no one believed in, in the authors the industry hadn't discovered yet. She built an entire universe out of instinct, courage, and an unshakeable belief that the stories we tell each other matter.
The next time you pick up a fantasy novel, watch a Star Wars film, or quote The Princess Bride — you are living inside something she built.
Her name was Judy-Lynn del Rey. Say it out loud.

YOUR BONES ARE NOT SOLID. THEY ARE PIEZOELECTRIC CRYSTALS THAT GENERATE ELECTRICITY EVERY TIME YOU MOVE.

You were taught that your skeleton is a dead frame. Calcium scaffolding. A coat hanger for your muscles. That is the biggest lie in anatomy.

Your bones are alive. They contain more nerve endings than your skin. They produce every red blood cell in your body — 2 million per second. They store 99% of your calcium, 85% of your phosphorus, and 60% of your magnesium. Your skeleton is not structural support. It is a chemical factory and an electrical generator.

In 1957, Japanese orthopedic surgeon Dr. Iwao Yasuda discovered that when human bone is compressed or bent, it produces a measurable electrical voltage. He called it the piezoelectric effect. The same principle used in quartz watches, microphones, and sonar technology. Your bones are literally crystals that convert mechanical stress into electricity.

This is not metaphor. This is physics.

When you walk, every step generates an electrical charge through your bones. That charge signals your osteoblasts — bone-building cells — to deposit new mineral exactly where the stress occurred. This is why astronauts lose 1-2% of their bone density per month in space. No gravity. No compression. No piezoelectric signal. No rebuilding.

Dr. Robert O. Becker proved in the 1960s that this electrical signal is what controls all bone healing. He applied micro-currents to non-healing fractures and watched bones regenerate that doctors had given up on. His work led to the FDA-approved bone growth stimulators used in hospitals today — devices that apply specific electrical frequencies to accelerate bone repair by up to 300%.

But here is what they never connected for you: if your bones generate electricity from movement, and that electricity controls bone density, then a sedentary population is not just unfit. It is electrically dead. The skeleton stops generating its own repair signal. Osteoporosis is not a calcium deficiency. It is a voltage deficiency.

They told you to take calcium pills. They should have told you that your bones are batteries that only charge when you move.

Every step you take is not just exercise. It is electricity. Your skeleton is a living, breathing, self-charging crystal matrix that was designed to carry current from the ground through your entire body.

You are not a machine that runs on food. You are a bioelectric system that runs on frequency, voltage, and movement. And they made sure you sat still.

Neptune in Aries begins to express more fully in April 2026, following its exact conjunction with Saturn at 0° Aries earlier in the year. As Saturn now separates, Neptune’s energy becomes more pristine, igniting a new spiritual cycle centered on identity rebirth, personal sovereignty, and intuitive self-trust.

This transit activates both individual and collective awakenings, drawing on themes from past Neptune in Aries cycles—such as spiritual rebellion during the Protestant Reformation, power struggles in global conflicts, and identity shifts during the American Civil War—to show how humanity repeatedly redefines truth, leadership, and divine connection.

This current cycle invites us to embody a new spiritual identity, reclaim authority over our beliefs, and initiate soul-led paths with courage and intention.

With support from Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries acts as a “cosmic arrow,” guiding us toward new timelines, creative awakenings, and higher consciousness, while reminding us that we are both the vessel and source of divine guidance in motion.

🧜‍♂️ April Mid-Month Mermaid Messages 🧜‍♂️
Continuing with the spaceship metaphor from my last reading, mid month we are being asked to let go of the boosters.

There's something in us that has got us this far, but it is now done with, and needs to fall away so you can move into the next version of you.

Maybe it's shame that has prevented you from embracing your inner goof ball. Maybe it's obligation that has kept you stuck on a path that was never meant for you. Maybe it's refusing to see things as they really are that has kept you chasing your tail.

What does contentment look like for you?

Because there is contentment and magic waiting for you in outer space. A deep inner peace, without the noise and a magical world changing view that can be yours when you let go of the heavy booster rockets. The old you needed the fuel they provided, but now it's holding you back. Grief may come up as you lovingly acknowledge you need to let go. That's ok. Be grateful for the experience they offered, and look forward to the stars 🌟.

Our Story

Is something just not right but you can't put your finger on it? Finding the outside world intense and overwhelming? Are you run down? Or do you keep having nightmares? Are all your health problems in a particular region of your body? This was me a few years ago.

I used to work full time in multimedia & IT - and for a time it made me happy. But I did struggle with many aspects of working in an office and after a while I found myself dying from the inside out.

I was originally introduced to Reiki through friends who were practitioners and quickly found that regular Reiki sessions improved my mindset, overall health and helped me cope better at work. Reiki made me happier, healthier and I found a new sense of joy in life. It also opened me up to deal and heal trauma I didn’t realise I was carrying.

I was so blown away by this modality that I decided to learn the skill so that I could practice self healing. Much to my surprise, my friends started asking me to do Reiki on them, and it wasn't long before I completed the Master/Teacher level training certification.
