Summer is hanging on but Autumn is here and the temperatures are starting to cool down and this encourages people to get outside and exercise. This can be personal exercise programs or organised sport. With either there is risk of injuries, from minor grazes to sprains and strains and fractures. These injuries can be treated initially by a first aider and if treated correctly initially will reduce the healing time drastically. DO YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO? Completing few hours of training and completing the assessments competently are all you need to be qualified in First Aid and know what to do in these situations. Come and join the next First aid course here in Tahmoor. The instructor is a retired Paramedic with well over 40 years’ First Aid experience.
