Another beautiful morning holding space 🍃
My intention for this class was to guide others to drop out of the mind and connect more deeply to the subtle whispers of the body.
The mind can be so strong, creating a sense of disconnection from the body.
When the nervous system is stuck in survival, this creates a disconnection from our intuition.
The more stress, anxiety, overwhelm and overthinking the quieter your intuition becomes.
When you regulate the nervous system, it begins to relax and soften. The calmer you become, the more in tune you become to your body and your intuition. It’s like turning up the volume on your speaker.
Your intuition is your inner guidance system. When you are calm and regulated you can tune into your own body for guidance.
This is where you will begin to experience true alignment in all areas of your life.
You will have the ability to tune into the felt sense in the body of what ‘feels’ like a YES and what ‘feels’ like a NO.
Learning the techniques and having the tools to regulate your nervous system is one of the most powerful and transformative things you can do for yourself.
If you desire change in your life, it must come from within first. Nothing on the outside will create lasting change in your life. It may temporarily bring relief, fill a void and soothe discomfort but this masks what’s truly going on beneath the surface.
To bring lasting change, growth and transformation is to go within, heal and regulate your nervous system.
Calm then becomes your guiding emotion not fear.
This has been the path that I have taken. It has been challenging and at times uncomfortable but choosing to stay the same is also challenging and uncomfortable.
So ask yourself do I want to stay stuck, and repeating the same patterns for the rest of this year or do I want to grow and evolve and truly embody the highest version of myself.
