Welcome to the team, Amy! ✨

We’re so excited to have Amy join us, an ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist who’s all about helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier.

With a background in distance running, triathlon, and cycling, Amy truly gets the highs, lows, and everything in between when it comes to training, injury, and making a confident return to sport (including pre & post-natal journeys 👶🏃‍♀️).

Her experience spans from neurological conditions like MS, stroke, Parkinson’s, and spinal injuries, to musculoskeletal rehab, osteoporosis management, and chronic disease care.

Whether you’re chasing peak performance or rebuilding after injury, Amy is passionate about creating personalised programs that restore confidence, improve function, and support long-term wellbeing.

We can’t wait for you to meet her!

Bone health becomes a priority, not an afterthought during perimenopause and menopause. As estrogen declines, bone loss can accelerate rapidly.

The good news? Bone is living tissue and it responds to the right kind of training. Strength training is one of the most effective ways to slow bone loss, maintain density, and reduce your risk of fractures.

But not all exercise is enough. It needs to be progressive, targeted, and done with intention. That’s where we come in. As exercise physiologists, we design personalised programs that safely load your bones, build strength, and support your long-term health so you can stay strong, capable, and resilient.

Details matter. In both the clinic and the gym.

The way your foot contacts the ground.
The position of your ribs when you breathe.
The control you have at the bottom of a movement.
Where you actually feel an exercise working.

These are the things that determine whether an exercise is effective…or just going through the motions.

In the clinic, details help us understand the root cause of pain or dysfunction. In the gym, they’re what turn a good program into real, long-term results.

When you start to pay attention to the details - you move better, you feel the right muscles working, you reduce your risk of injury, and you build strength that actually carries over into real life.

If you’ve been training hard or rehabbing but not seeing the results you expect, it might not be effort you’re missing, it might be the details.

And sometimes, having the right eyes on your movement can make all the difference.

Have you ever Googled “What does an exercise physiologist actually help with?” 🤔 Most people think it’s just for injuries or athletes… but it’s so much more than that.

An Exercise Physiologist uses evidence-based exercise as medicine to help manage and improve a huge range of health conditions.

Exercise physiologists can help with chronic disease management, injuries and joint pain, neurological conditions and stroke recovery, mental health, weight and metabolic health, strength and fitness development, healthy ageing and fall prevention, and pregnancy or postnatal exercise support.

Exercise really is powerful medicine when it’s prescribed the right way.
