We are replacing the old water lines through the entire cemetery as the old lines were continually failing. This means the water will be off in the cemetery for a few weeks unfortunately. We apologise for any inconvenience.

We have turned the water off due to a water leak today. Our apologies for any inconvenience. We will fix the leak as soon as possible and have the water back on. The old lines just aren’t able to hold pressure like the should and we are planning to replace them all later this year.

As construction begins on our new chapel we wanted to let everyone know that the cemetery and crematorium are open for business as usual. Funeral Directors and families will see no interruptions. We are super excited to finally see this facility come together.

07/12/2023

We have had a few members of the public reach out after being informed that the new chapel build is affecting the operation and use of our existing chapel and crematorium.
We can assure you that this is not the case. The Alston Chapel can be booked at any time for services and our crematorium is still operating. Both are here ready to care for our community.
