Did you know your baby’s feet are packed with thousands of nerve endings and new reflexes? One of them is the Babinski (plantar) reflex—when you gently stroke the sole of your baby’s foot, their little toes fan out and curl. You may have already noticed the Babinski reflex during bath time or play—those tiny toes have a lot to teach us! It’s adorable and a sign of healthy development!

What a day!
As I wrap up, I can’t help but think today felt good.
💪I worked with a client who has been dealing with ongoing shoulder issues and limited mobility. By the end of our session, we achieved movements they haven’t been able to do for months. I’m excited to see their progress in the follow-up.
🤰I had the absolute joy of massaging two beautiful mums in their third trimester. Both who I’ve been able to support since early pregnancy.
💆♀️I held space today for clients feeling depleted - we have all been there. Whether it’s easing tension or helping muscles function better i’m so grateful to do this work.
❤️And to top it off - a visit from my two little loves.

The Beginning
With a background in remedial massage focused on sport, rehabilitation and injury prevention, Myo & Barn founder Brooke Carrington, branched into prenatal and infant massage after it enhanced her own pregnancy and journey into motherhood.
Brookes passion for understanding and nurturing the body, has lead her to advance her training, thus allowing her to provide a diverse range of massage therapies at Myo & Barn.
