About Emergency Response and Security Services Pty Ltd (ERSS) RTO 46288
At ERSS, we save lives through education. Founded by Jamie and Elizabeth Day, Jamie a former Nurse and Recent Ambulance Officer and Elizabeth current Nurse, who have disrupted the first aid training industry, ERSS has become a leader in first aid training through innovation and excellence. We work with Australia’s most iconic multi national companies and privately owned businesses, equipping their teams to act confidently in any emergency. With growing demand, we are expanding our passionate training team.
We’re now seeking permanent part-time / permanent casual Trainer and Assessor to join our team and fulfil our mission of empowering communities through delivering life-saving knowledge.
The Role
As a Trainer at ERSS, you’ll join a dynamic, supportive team of health and education professionals. You’ll receive dedicated mentoring and participate in our ERSS Excellence on-the-job training program to set you up for success. You'll deliver accredited CPR, First Aid, and industry-specific training including but not limited to Low Voltage Rescue, Manual Handling or Medication Administration at workplaces across the New England North West region of NSW and SE Qld.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver impactful training sessions in CPR, First Aid, and industry-specific training including but not limited to Low Voltage Rescue, Manual Handling or Medication Administration.
• Assess and inspire learners with constructive feedback that builds confidence and competence.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and assessments.
• Stay current with industry standards to ensure content remains compliant and engaging.
• Work autonomously while upholding ERSS’s high training standards.
• Collaborate with your fellow trainers to elevate learning experiences.
• Contribute to quality assurance efforts.
• Travel to training sites within the New England North West region of NSW and SE Qld, up to 2.5 hours from your home base.

Essential Skills & Experience
• Background in Health or Education
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and public speaking skills
• Excellent organisational and time management ability
• Adaptability and empathy for diverse learners
• Attention to detail in training delivery and documentation
• A passion for continuous learning and personal development
Available Roles
• Part-Time: Approx. 25 -40 hours per week (weekend availability is essential) Remuneration paid weekly.

• Must have a personal laptop and internet access
