Working closely with our Accredited Exercise Physiologist Alex, Marianne has discovered just how powerful the right exercise program can be.
πͺ Exercise for neurological conditions like MS can help with:
β’ Managing spasticity and stiffness
β’ Improving balance and mobility
β’ Supporting sleep and mental health
β’ Maintaining strength and independence
Marianne says her sessions have been life-changing, taking an approach that looks at not just MS, but overall wellbeing, movement, and lifestyle.
And sheβs still setting incredible goalsβ¦ πΆββοΈ
Last year alone Marianne completed over 966 km between walking with hiking poles and cycling on her exercise bike as part of the May 50K challenge.
Her message is simple:
Staying active matters,no matter your age or diagnosis.
Weβre incredibly proud to support Marianne on her journey π
We loved spending time at the Tamworth Baby Buzz Expo over the weekend, meeting so many wonderful local families. π
It was a great chance for our Paediatric therapists to chat about early development, share how our Allied Health clinicians can help and to meet some beautiful little people.
It was also incredible to see so many diverse services supporting new families. We truly have such a great community and so many quality offerings locally. π
Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat and grabbed a flyer. We hope you enjoy the resources put together by our Physio, EP, Speech and OT team. π
