Reasons for incorrect posture: Habit - Lack of awareness.
Tight muscles that decrease range of motion and encourage the joints to sit in poor positions.
Muscle weakness - long term poor posture results in weakness of muscles that should easily be able to hold you in a good alignment all day. In fact, often when people start to really work on their posture, they feel their back muscles get sore and tired from the effort. But don't worry, they will strengthen and adapt - as they are meant to!

Through my own personal experience, I know how important remedial massage therapy (and other hands-on therapies) is to injury prevention and rehabilitation. I am also a strong believer in the benefits of massage therapy not only on athletic performance, but also the well-being of the Mind, Body and Soul.
My aim is to help my clients achieve their goals through not just using and sharing my knowledge, but also inspiring my clients to seek their own. I believe in athletes treating athletes. I have experience working with elite runners, cyclists, swimmers, triathletes, and dancers.
I am passionate about helping people of all ages and from all walks of life to better understand there body through hands-on therapy.
I believe in training both in and outside of the gym and experiencing new things and continually expanding my knowledge in all things health related. But I do let myself indulge in coffee and desserts.
