I have known Liv since July 2018, and she is a truly genuine and beautiful soul inside and out, and an absolute pleasure to see in my clinic for her skin treatments.
Liv has always had a beautiful skin, but like so many of us, struggled with some hormonal congestion as well as surface dry skin.
My recommendation for all my clients is consistent skin treatments on a monthly basis, based on their concerns, which Liv has been doing since I saw her for her first consult and treatment.
The reason why I recommend this approach, is in young adults, skin cell turnover, the process of shedding old skin cells and replacing them with new ones, typically takes around 28 days. This includes about 14 days for a cell to move from its origin to the surface and another 14 days at the surface before being shed. This rapid turnover contributes to the smooth, radiant appearance of young skin. So as we mature, if we trick it into turning over every 28 days, it will respond more like a young skin, and be radiant, glowing and healthy.
Liv's skin has improved exponentially over the years and I think she looks even more radiant now than when I first met her.
