One of our NDIS participants has recently lost nearly everything that helps him feel safe, supported and able to communicate — including his communication device, sensory regulation tools, crash pads and so much more — in the devastating 1-in-500-year flood.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help replace these essential items so he can regain stability, comfort, and the tools he needs day-to-day.

We celebrated National Carers Week with a Picnic in the Park — complete with lawn games, laughter, and recognition awards for our amazing team who provide quality support care in the home and in the community daily.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a beautiful day to celebrate the heart of what we do — our carers!

🎉✨ Today we have the absolute joy of celebrating our wonderful client Bepi’s 71st birthday – and of course, we celebrate in style! 🥳💐

Our day has already been filled with laughter, love and plenty of delicious treats – starting with a gorgeous cake from Andy’s Bakery 🎂

It’s always such a pleasure sharing these special milestones with Bepi – his smile truly lights up every room he walks into! 💛🌟

As usual, we have been busy with our clients and have had a rewarding time for both our clients and teams! 💛

🚗 Our supported employees have been busy giving cars and buses a sparkling clean!
🍃 Days out in the community have included visiting local markets and checking out some amazing old car shows.
🌱 Our Lawns & Maintenance team have been working hard to keep outdoor spaces looking their best.
👩‍🍳 And our support workers have been assisting clients with food prep, and making healthy meals together is a priority

We’re so proud of all the great things happening each week here at Care Shelf – building skills, enjoying the community, and creating meaningful moments together. 💫

✅ Rostering & scheduling experience (disability/aged care/health preferred)
✅ Strong admin & communication skills

✅ Knowledge of NDIS and systems like Shift Care/Xero (advantageous)
