Congrats to the 12 learn to row participants this morning who attended the rowing club’s beginner programme. All champions have to start somewhere and learn to row is a great start for the foundation skills. Loved the enthusiasm and commitment to get out there and give it a try. Well done people πŸ’ͺπŸ™ŒπŸ‘

A big thank you to everyone who attended the CDRA Rowing Championships at Manning River Rowing Club this weekend. It was fantastic to host clubs and crews from across the region.

Well done to all the athletes who competed. The wind certainly made things interesting at times, but that’s rowing β€” and a bit of breeze just makes us stronger! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺThere was plenty of outstanding racing on display and plenty of smiling faces at the finish line. After all, winners are grinners. πŸ˜„

Finally, a huge thank you to the regatta officials and to MRRC’s incredible team of volunteers who worked behind the scenes all weekend to make the event happen. Without your time, effort and enthusiasm there simply would be no regatta.

Thanks again to everyone who came along β€” we loved having you on the Manning and look forward to seeing you back again soon! πŸš£β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘
