Learn to Row is on again this Saturday folks. It’s becoming a pretty popular programme so grab your hat and sunscreen and head down to Manning River Rowing Club in Taree this Saturday 28 February at 7.15am. Have breakfast or coffee at The Boathouse Cafe afterwards to really kick off your weekend.

🔥🚣‍♀️ Big weekend of racing for Manning River Rowing Club alongside MVAC at Berry Park! Lake Macquarie Rowing Club hosted Saturday in scorching 37° heat ☀️🥵, followed by a much cooler Sunday with Endeavour Rowing Club 🌤️.

💪 Over 20 Manning athletes raced across multiple events. While there were great results across all categories 🥇🥈🥉, it was the way we raced — digging deep when it mattered that made us proud to represent the Manning ❤️🖤

Now that our 40+ volunteers have emerged from their post-regatta slumber 😴 😁, it’s time to say a very big thank you and congratulations following another fantastic Taree Summer Regatta.

First up, an outstanding effort from the rowers of MRRC and MVAC. Across 170 races, our regional crews combined to take home 18 gold, 14 silver and 11 bronze medals. Winning 10% of all gold medals on offer is an incredible achievement and something to be very proud of 🥇👏🙌. You’ve truly done your region proud.

Thanks and congratulations to the 500+ athletes and their families who made the trip to Taree for our regatta. It was great to host you all and we look forward to seeing you again.

To our amazing team of ever-willing volunteers — this event simply does not happen without you. Your commitment, energy and willingness to keep turning up and delivering year after year is what makes TSR so special. Thank you.
