Our local team provides podiatry, psychology, speech pathology and occupational therapy, with appointments available at a time when these services can be hard to access. Dundaloo Allied Health focuses on teaching you to understand your condition and manage it independently, rather than relying on ongoing appointments wherever possible.

You’ll be supported by highly experienced clinicians who are community‑focused and outcome‑driven, working alongside you to achieve practical, meaningful improvements in your everyday life. If you’ve been waiting to see someone about your feet, mobility, communication, daily living skills or mental health, now is a great time to get in touch with Dundaloo Allied Health and book an appointment.

Summer is the perfect time to kick off your shoes, hit the beach and enjoy the sunshine – but it can be tough on your feet if you’re not careful. Our podiatrist, Robbie, has shared some simple tips to keep you moving comfortably all summer long.

Choose the right thongs: Look for styles with good heel cushioning and arch support, rather than traditional completely flat thongs, especially if you’ve been in enclosed shoes all winter. The sudden change can really shock your feet.

Think about the surface: Sand is great, but it’s unstable. Soft sand works the smaller muscles in your feet and can tire them quickly on longer walks, while firmer wet sand often slopes toward the water and can tilt your hips and ankles to one side as you walk.

A few small choices – like supportive footwear and mixing up where and how far you walk – can help keep your feet happy and you out enjoying summer, instead of sitting on the sidelines with sore soles.

Most importantly, if you’re having any issues with your feet, check in with our podiatrist at Dundaloo Allied Health, 83 Wingham Rd, Taree or call 6594 6898 to help get you back on your feet.

Start the New Year connected and supported. 💜

The Manning Area Family Support Network is back for 2026, and we'd love to see you at our first meeting of the year. This group is open to all families and carers supporting someone with a disability at home – not just those who use Dundaloo services. It's a welcoming space to share experiences, learn from each other, and have your voice heard on disability services in our region.

Next Meeting Details:
📅 Tuesday 20 January 2026
🕙 10:00am
📍 Gayay Lagili, 316 Wingham Rd, Taree

This month's guest speakers are Stephen Legg from Dundaloo Allied Health and Linda Walters, Dundaloo Occupational Therapist, who will be sharing insights and answering questions.

As we step into the New Year, we look forward to fresh opportunities for connection, learning and mutual support. Every family's journey is unique, and this group is here to celebrate progress – big and small – and create a safe, understanding space for everyone.

If you'd like to come along or find out more, please reach out. We'd love to see you there!

Some thank-yous are too special to be left unsaid, even after Christmas. 💜

Since 2019, the incredible Killabakh community has been collecting Christmas gifts every year for Dundaloo participants. What began with donated presents for local children has grown into a beautiful tradition of generosity that now brightens Christmas morning for many people we support, especially those who may not have family to celebrate with.

Each year, the community gathers gifts at their annual Christmas singalong, then delivers them to Dundaloo in time for Santa’s visit. The joy, surprise and excitement on participants’ faces when they see presents under the tree is truly priceless, and it means more than words can say.

To everyone in the Killabakh community who has donated, organised, wrapped or delivered a gift over the past four years – thank you. Your kindness continues to make Christmas feel magical and reminds our participants that their community cares about them. 🎄✨
