So what is Occupational Therapy…
…And why do we need it?

Many people are confused by the term Occupational Therapy, thinking that it must be something to do with employment. But the word Occupation comes from the same term as "to be occupied".
A suitable alternative to describe the word 'Occupation' would be 'purposeful activity'. Occupational Therapy supports you in the activities that you need and want to do.
