Residents at Sunset Views Manor enjoyed a wonderful Christmas celebration, sharing a delicious Christmas lunch with family and friends. The day included a special visit from Santa, festive carols by the Simply Singing Choir from Centennial Living Wyndham Grange, and a beautiful Christmas tree cake prepared by the lovely chef, Vivian, during afternoon happy hour.

We were also pleased to welcome the Homestyle Executive team as part of the celebrations, making it a truly joyful and memorable Christmas party for everyone.

The residents of Sunset Views Manor had a wonderful time visiting the Christmas lights at Melbourne’s Docklands! The evening was filled with joy as everyone enjoyed walking around, taking in the sparkling displays, and sharing in the festive spirit. The night was completed with a tour of the dazzling Christmas lights around Tarneit making the trip home just as memorable as the outing itself.

Residents from Homestyle Sunset Views Manor enjoyed a special bus outing to Geelong's Eastern Beach. The residents enjoyed the warm weather, fresh sea air, a gentle walk along the Eastern Beach bridge, and milkshakes by the water. It was a relaxed and enjoyable day out, with residents happy to explore the area and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Residents are embracing the joy of the season with a Christmas carol walk throughout December. The home kicked off their celebrations with a wonderful Christmas choir performance from Palm Lake Resort, filling the home with music and cheer.

Residents loved spending time, sharing stories, enjoying songs and activities, and creating beautiful intergenerational moments that brightened Sunset Views Manor.

Residents spent a fabulous day getting creative with morning arts and crafts before showing off their stylish hats and fascinators in a special Oaks Day fashion parade!

The afternoon was filled with laughter, delicious afternoon tea, and plenty of excitement as the Melbourne Cup sweep winners were announced and prizes handed out. 🏆🐎

We were delighted to welcome the Australian Government, Department of Health, Disability and Ageing Minister to Sunset Views Manor in Tarneit for a special visit today.

Minister Sam Rae joined us to hold a press conference to celebrate the commencement of the new Aged Care Act and highlight Sunset Views Manor as a quality care facility that is serving the community.

Minister Rae took time to tour Homestyle Sunset Views Manor, meeting with residents and staff along the way.

It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the warm and caring environment at Sunset Views Manor and to discuss the positive changes ahead for the aged care sector. 💙

Residents at Sunset Views Manor had a wonderful time visiting the RAAF History and Heritage, where they were treated to an incredible air show by Pilot Sam — flying a historic World War II aircraft!

After the show, everyone enjoyed exploring the displays and learning fascinating stories about the aircraft used in the war and life on the air force base. It was a truly memorable and educational day for all!
