💉 Flu Vaccinations Now Available at Teesdale Pharmacy

We are now offering private flu vaccinations for patients aged 16 years and over via booking.

👉 While flu vaccines are approved for use from 6 months of age, our pharmacy vaccination service is currently limited to 16+.

Available in-store:
• Standard flu vaccine
• Cell-based (non-egg) flu vaccine (for those who prefer it)

For children:
• FluMist (nasal spray) will be available from early April for eligible children and adolescents (not government subsidised)

📅 Government-funded FREE vaccines (for eligibility criteria: health.vic.gov.au/immunisation/seasonal-influenza-vaccine ) arriving early April — we’ll announce when stock arrives

💚 There’s a new friendly face behind the counter at Teesdale Pharmacy…

First of all, a big thank you to our community for your patience over the past month. With Bao moving on, we had a few locums helping out while we searched for the right long-term pharmacist.

We’re excited to share that Andrej has now joined us as our new pharmacist! 🎉

Andrej is an experienced patient focused pharmacist who’s previously managed a local community pharmacy in Melbourne. Having recently moved back to his hometown of Geelong, he’s looking forward to settling in and getting to know everyone in Teesdale.

Some of you may have already met Andrej this week — if not, drop by and say hello 👋

👉 Looking ahead, we’ve got big plans for Teesdale Pharmacy. Our goal is to become your one-stop local health hub — not just for medicines, but also services like vaccinations, UTI treatment, health checks and more.

💚 A Big Thanks to Bao + What’s New at Teesdale Pharmacy

After nearly 3 years with us, Bao - our pharmacist manager, has recently moved on from his role at Teesdale Pharmacy for a new opportunity closer to home. We're truly grateful for the care and dedication he brought to the store, and we wish him all the very best in his next chapter.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be searching for another regular pharmacist to work alongside Dorothy and me — something we’re really looking forward to.

👋 In the meantime, you’ll see a few casual pharmacists helping out, but our wonderful pharmacy assistants are all still here as familiar faces to support you however we can.

🩺 You may have noticed our new consultation room too! Once we receive final approval from the Health Department, we’ll be offering extra services like:
