We’re excited to welcome Tertia Maynard as our new Support Coordinator servicing the Tenterfield and Stanthorpe regions.

Tertia holds a Bachelor of Psychology and a Diploma of Nursing, with extensive experience in mental health, recovery-focused practice, and NDIS support. She has worked as a Recovery Coach, Support Worker, and Mental Health Hub Manager, supporting people with complex needs to build independence and reconnect with their communities.

We’re thrilled to have her on the Inspire team 💛

🌟 Celebrating Kathy-Ann's Artistic Success! 🎨 We are beyond proud to share some incredible news about one of our amazing NDIS participants, Kathy-Ann, a strong and proud Indigenous woman from the Yelarbon community near Goondiwindi.

Her stunning artwork, "Blended Eye," has been accepted into the Blue Care 2026 calendar – a huge achievement that recognises not only her immense talent but the years of dedication she’s poured into developing her art.

Kathy-Ann shared how grateful she feels to have her work accepted, recognised, and celebrated – and we couldn’t agree more! Your strength, creativity, and culture shine through every brushstroke, and we are right here celebrating this moment with you, Kathy-Ann. 💛🖤❤️

I’m so happy to share this adorable photo of a very special assistance dog enjoying some much-needed respite at the beach 🐾☀️ After some previous anxiety, they made it to respite this time and they are now having the time of their lives on the Sunshine Coast. This is what it’s all about — showing up, staying consistent, and celebrating the wins.

Today holds deep meaning for our family. Our son has been recently diagnosed with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD) and Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis (CHF)—a rare genetic condition that means, one day, he will likely need both a kidney and a liver transplant.

His future rests in the hands of organ donors—people who say *yes* to giving the ultimate gift: a second chance at life.

NAIDOC Week 2025 – Honouring First Nations People with Disability
This NAIDOC Week, we take time to recognise and celebrate the strength, culture, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, especially those living with disability.
As a support coordination service, we acknowledge that many First Nations people with disability face barriers that are shaped by both systemic inequality and intergenerational trauma. At the same time, their resilience, cultural knowledge, and community connections are powerful foundations for healing and empowerment.
We are committed to walking alongside our First Nations participants, listening deeply, supporting self-determination, and ensuring our services are culturally safe and inclusive.
NAIDOC Week is more than a celebration, it’s a reminder of our responsibility to stand in solidarity, to challenge discrimination, and to support meaningful change for all.
