Have you ever noticed a shift in your voice after doing breathwork or yoga? The kind of shift that leads you from a calmer state to speak with ease, in a slightly lower tone and coming from deep within you?

I experienced this after the very first yoga retreat I ever attended. A deep reset had happened. I had found my own perfect vibration.

I keep coming back.

Practicing and sharing yoga with all its aspects - moving, breathing, meditating, chanting om and singing mantras is a way to connect with myself and others.

Getting very excited about sharing a creative, vibrational yoga practice with you in less than a week.

Here‘s a rough outline what we‘ll be doing in these 2 hours together:
- A bit of theory on the throat chakra and the benefits of chanting & mantra
- A practice that blends yoga asana with breathing, chanting, mantra meditation and sound. To release tension in your upper body. Leave feeling calmer, clearer and more connected.

Imagine you're about to ride a pushbike uphill (a very steep hill and no, it's not an e-bike). You feel energetic and want to give it a try, although you know from previous experiences that you've never made it to the top.

You tell yourself to just cycle the first 10m to a rubbish bin. That worked well, you've found a pedaling rhythm and want to keep going. Towards the next set goal (a tree halfway up the street). You also reach this. Breathing gets heavier and your legs are tired but you caught fire and want to finish the whole way up. And so you do it!

While catching your breath, smoothly riding on flat terrain again, you realise that your approach consisted of 3 things:

1. clarity on your goals
2. small acts of confidence
3. consistency

You can apply this to anything - work, sports, yoga... When you take action, you'll gain confidence. But it's consistency that will let you see change.

Taking little steps and progressively building it up is exactly what we'll do in the 8 Week Elementals Course, that starts tomorrow Wednesday, 15 Oct, 9am.

Over 8 weeks we'll lay the foundation of a balanced yoga practice with focus on grounding and stability. Moving regularly with confidence will make you feel steady and supported in your body.
