Manager

Emmy has been part of our team for the past 2 years, supporting clients with so much care, empathy, and dedication.
Recently, she stepped into her new role as Client Support Manager.

In Emmys spare time, she loves to read psychological thrillers, Pilates, going to Kmart and spending time with her 4 fur babies!!! 🐶🐾

She knows our clients, our team, and our values inside out, and we’re so lucky to have her leading and supporting in this next chapter.

🚨 Support Worker Opportunity – Complex Behaviour Experience Required 🚨

Support Central Co is currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Disability Support Worker to join our team supporting a male participant with complex behavioural support needs on the Central Coast.

This role is best suited to someone who is calm under pressure, confident managing behaviours of concern, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

About the role:
• Supporting a male participant with complex behaviours
• Experience with verbal aggression, behavioural escalation, and de-escalation strategies will be highly regarded
• Providing structured, person-centred support in line with behaviour support strategies
• Building trust, consistency, and positive outcomes for the participant

We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has experience working with complex behaviours and behavioural support plans
✔ Remains calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
✔ Is confident using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques
✔ Is reliable, proactive, and passionate about supporting people with disabilities

MEET SALLY ✨🤍

After being an absolute powerhouse as a CSM, this next step is so well deserved. Sally brings passion, leadership and dedication to everything she does, and we’re so excited to see her thrive in this role.

As a SIL Manager, Sally helps oversee Supported Independent Living services - supporting participants to live as independently as possible while leading teams and ensuring high-quality care is delivered every day.

Fun fact about Sally: she loves meerkats! 🐾 They’re her favourite animal, and she even has a collection of over 100 meerkat statues in her garden.

In her spare time, you’ll find Sally exploring beaches and soaking up the sun ☀️🌊

MEET MATT ✨👑

Matt is one of our SIL managers here at SCC!

A Supported Independent Living (SIL) Manager oversees the daily operations of SIL homes, ensuring participants receive safe, high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and choice. The role involves leading and supporting disability staff, coordinating services, and ensuring individual support plans are implemented effectively.
SIL Managers work closely with participants, families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to ensure supports align with NDIS plans and meet NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards. They are responsible for monitoring participant wellbeing, managing risks and incidents, overseeing staff rosters and documentation, and ensuring a safe, supportive home environment that empowers participants to build skills and engage in their community.

When Matt isn’t at work, he is either fishing or going on adventures like bushwalking, hiking or travelling! 🥾✈️

Fun fact about Matt… he does fossicking, which is finding gold or gemstones! Yeah…we have a pretty cool team 🤩

MEET EMMA - OUR POWERHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER ✨

In the disability industry, strong operations mean safe, consistent and high-quality support for every participant and Emma is the powerhouse behind making that happen.

As Operations Manager, Emma keeps the wheels turning across ALL our services. From overseeing day-to-day operations and leading our team of managers, to refining processes and making sure standards stay high, she ensures everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

But she’s not just behind a desk!!!

You’ll find her:
- Building flat packs for our SIL’s
- Leading team meetings and solving problems on the fly
- Bringing the office vibes (bangers always on 🎶)
- Keeping the temperature in the office at a crisp 18° … (non-negotiable) ❄️

Emma doesn’t just manage the system, she strengthens it. Her leadership, attention to detail and genuine care for both staff and participants are what help our services thrive.

And when she’s not holding the fort down? She’s likely chasing summer somewhere in the world or diving with marine life… our very own mermaid 🧜🏼‍♀️🌊

We’re lucky to have her leading the way.
