We loved celebrating Christmas with our amazing clients, sharing pizza, good chats, and fun activities together. Just 20 minutes in nature can lower your stress hormones (like cortisol) as much as a deep relaxation session. Your brain literally shifts into a calmer, clearer state just from being outside.

Spending time with your animals can reduce stress: Patting a dog can lower cortisol (stress hormone) and release oxytocin which is the “connection” hormone 🤍 This is your sign to go some big love to your pets tonight!!

WHAT DO WE DO AS SUPPORT WORKERS?

Support work isn’t just coffee catch-ups and community outings. It’s real, meaningful support.

Support workers help with things such as:

- Daily living skills
- Community access
- Medical & therapy appointments
- Emotional support & regulation
- Building independence
- Working toward goals

Some days are full of wins and smiles.
Other days involve challenges, big emotions, sensory overload, or health needs and we’re there for it all.

Support Work is more than a job. It’s showing up, supporting growth, and making a difference with purpose 🤍✨
