If you aren’t offering a reliable service, don’t count on your clients being reliable either.
NDIS Providers don’t usually consider the reliability of our client base, but its an important metric to use when forecasting your capacity to take on new business. Most services have been guilty of saying yes to everyone coming through the door for every service they request.
If you’re not assessing the clients needs and requests closely you will most likely be setting yourself up for an unreliable customer. How can your customers engage with your service if you must change staff often, cancel/reschedule services regularly or simply not meet their expectations in support?
To make your customers more reliable, you have to be better prepared, assess needs well and be honest with what you can actually offer. Your clients will vote with their feet if you can’t deliver the goods.
