Brian’s Retirement - On the 31st of March 2026 the A&D Australasia business will undergo a seismic change when Brian Johnston completes his service with A&D and moves into retirement, after a stellar 30 year contribution to our organisation.

Brian has been a brilliant mentor, guide, knowledge source and strategist to all who have worked at ADA and we will miss those incredibly valuable traits when he leaves our business. His friendship, sense of humour, and pragmatic assessment of situations will be sorely missed.

Brian will also leave a significant hole in our industry more widely as he has occupied some significant positions on various industry advisory groups & boards.

Thank you, Brian! The team at A&D have loved working with you and we wish you nothing but the best as you begin your well-deserved retirement. 👏😍👏🤩👏

The end of 2025 will bring the closure of a stellar A&D Australasia career, with Minoru Tanaka calling time on his service to our company.
From his early days of joining A&D, where he worked really hard to embrace the Australian culture, even learning some unsavoury parts of our language, to the current day, Minoru has been a tremendous contributor to our business but also to our personal lives as he has become a true Aussie.
Minoru has played a critical role in the establishment of the A&D's Production Department, our Engineering Department, IT Support and the Quality system.
A true “quiet achiever” Minoru has worked tirelessly, quite often behind the scenes and often unnoticed , to build our company structure and to streamline our operations to the best effect.
Some of our company meetings are still fresh in the mind as Minoru was always a solid contributor to the fun that took place. I think we have all become very comfortable and close with Minoru in a friendship that has been forged over the years that we have all worked together.
As is traditional, we always want the best for our friends and to see them get the best that life has to offer. To this point we all wish Minoru every joy and success in retirement and we thank him for his brilliant contribution to each of our working lives.
From all at A&D, thank you Minoru, it has been a tremendous pleasure working with you and sharing the past 32 years. 👏👍👏

Cherry on the cake is when a customer is happy to take full combo MD/CW system off your stand and even collect it at the end of the show 🏆

Our Managing Director, Kevin Johnson, is once again taking part in the 2025 Soup & Sleep event by "Food on the Table" Charity to help raise crucial funds and awareness for those experiencing homelessness and disadvantage in our community.

On the evening of June 5th, Kevin will join fellow participants in the Soup & Sleep event. He'll be helping to prepare meals for disadvantaged members of our community and then spend the night sleeping rough. This experience will offer a small glimpse into the hardships faced by so many individuals every night.

We're inviting businesses and individuals to consider making a donation to support this crucial fundraising effort. Your contribution, no matter the size, will have an immediate and vital impact.
