Nicoleen Agnello is a Guardian of the flame of love and light of the Universal Spirit. Even though it is a huge challenge, she rates living with her life threatening auto immune disease as the best thing that has happened to her, enabling her to re-evaluate her values and alter her focus. After ten years of chronic debilitating illness she has risen as a phoenix from the flames, healing herself from chronic illness and wishes to dedicate her life to helping others do the same. Art Flame:
As a master storyteller she draws on symbolism and spiritual truth, seeing the divine in the everyday. She uses our shared human story to reconnect people to each other and our inner spirit. She is a conceptual visual artist, originally from South Africa, now based in Seaford and her work is built on compassion and human rights. She uses installation, painting and video to heal herself and society. Her guiding belief is everyone is equal and valuable, we are one and all connected. As an award winning art director she has over 20 years international industry experience for many high profile brands. Her emotionally charged artworks stay with you long after you first view them and she frequently uses her voice to speak for the marginalised and to give voice to taboo subjects such as depression. She has had three successful solo exhibitions, participated in high profile shows such as ‘All we can’t See’ as part of Melbourne Art Fair and won many awards for her conceptual art direction such as Cannes Finalist, France. Earth Flame:
As a vegan and a naturalist with a deep appreciation and respect for mother earth and the environment. She also runs a weekly 2 hour foraging class called ‘The wild spirits’ in Seaford on Saturday afternoons. In these mixed adult and children classes a group is taken on a guided walk to forage a wild or easily available suburban plant. We learn about the nutritional, medicinal and spiritual uses of the plant, do a worksheet and then apply our knowledge practically through a simple recipe using the plant. Today is the day Sophie Gregoire - Priestess Alchemy, and 31 women in total, birth a book of personal, courageous stories.
It has been a road of many steps, both in how each woman has lived her story, and how this anthology has unfolded.
This dream has evolved over more than two years, from the initial inspiration through Sophie, and then the gathering of women from around the world. We have been a circle of hope and faith, traversing obstacles and unexpected changes. Through it all, we have found strength to continue under Sophie's leadership.
I am humbled to share that my story 'A Witch is Born' - finding my way through spiritual landmines to come home to my ancestral Pagan roots, is one of these stories.
I am equally proud of this final push to birth a book whose proceeds will be donated to the NGO 'Madre', out today in paperback and e-book!

Happy Autumn Equinox! 21 March marked the start of as the wheel of the year shifts once again. Right now day and night are perfectly balanced, but from this moment on days become shorter and nights longer as we move towards the darker half of the year.
It’s powerful to look at where your life is out of balance right now and see where you can make some changes. Spending time in nature is the perfect way to reset your energy. Walking, swimming, bird watching, gardening or nature crafts like this mandala I made with a friend on the beach all help you to ground and stabilise your energy.
The March Equinox is also seen as the astrological start of the new year, as the sun has completed its journey through the zodiac and left Pisces, the last sign, for Aries, the first sign. This moment is seen as a fresh start!
