To those responsible for vandalizing our Cenotaph: your actions have caused deep hurt, anger, and outrage across our community. This is not minor or repairable damage. It is a blatant act of disrespect toward a sacred symbol that represents sacrifice, service, and remembrance.

You did not just damage stone; you disrespected veterans, families, and an entire community who hold this place in the highest regard. I expect those responsible to be held fully accountable, charged appropriately, and to issue a public apology. Our community and our RSL Sub Branch will not accept or excuse this behaviour, and it will not be brushed aside.

At Ease exists to help veterans make sense of a complex system.

We’re not here to push treatment,
rush decisions,
or replace what’s already working.

Our role is simple:
help you understand what options exist,
how access works,
and what questions are worth asking —
before anything changes.

Information comes first.

Pain management shouldn’t depend on where you live.

Many veterans put off care because travel is hard —
time, cost, mobility, or just the toll it takes.

Telehealth removes that barrier.

For eligible veterans, some services can be accessed remotely
through DVA-funded pathways — without long drives or waiting rooms.

Access matters.

Most veterans don’t live with “one injury.”

Pain changes how you move.
Movement changes how your body loads.
That compensation spreads — feet, knees, hips, back, shoulders.

Over time, the system adapts around pain.
And that adaptation creates more of it.

Understanding the full picture matters.

You don’t have to change anything to understand your options.

Learning comes first.
Pressure doesn’t belong in healthcare decisions.

If pain has been part of your life since service,
clarity matters.

A lot of veterans stay with options that only dull the pain —
not because they’re happy with them,
but because they don’t want to risk losing access.

Asking questions doesn’t cancel treatment.
It doesn’t trigger change.

Information comes first.
Decisions come later.

Pain doesn’t arrive out of nowhere after service.
It builds. It compensates. It wears you down over time.

And what makes it harder isn’t just the pain —
it’s navigating a system that feels complex, risky, and hard to trust.

Information doesn’t force change.
It gives you clarity.

Chronic pain is one of the most common long-term realities veterans live with.

For many veterans, pain begins during service and builds over time as the body compensates — turning injuries into ongoing strain across joints, nerves, and movement.

What makes it harder isn’t just the pain.
It’s navigating a complex system — where exploring new options can feel risky when you rely on what you already have.

At Ease Veteran Solutions exists to help veterans understand their pain management pathways and connect with registered medical practitioners where appropriate.

We don’t give medical advice.
We don’t push treatment.
We help veterans have clear, informed conversations — privately and without pressure.

Submitting an enquiry doesn’t commit you to anything.
It simply opens the door to information.

👉 If pain is affecting your quality of life, you’re welcome to start with a conversation.

Veterans: Stop fighting paperwork. We streamline DVA admin for Gold & White Card holders. Zero cost consults. Check eligibility in 30s.

We know today is all about family and prawns for some, but for others, it can be a bloody hard day.

If you’re doing it tough, you aren't alone.

If you’re doing well, take 2 minutes right now to send a text to a mate you haven’t heard from in a while.

A simple "You good?" can go a long way.

To those deployed, those working, and those holding the fort at home—Stand Easy.

THE DVA GOLD CARD
The ultimate all-access pass.

Coverage for all clinically necessary health care — not just service-related conditions.

Hospital. Specialists. Mental health. Allied health. Essentials.
If you’ve got a Gold Card but still feel stuck waiting, paying, or being bounced around — this is for you.

Most veterans aren’t told how broad the access actually is.

Know what you’ve earned.

Aussie Veteran Coffee Socials is coming to Echuca! A FREE event for Veterans, First Responders and their families.

Discover yesteryear today and experience the magic of the mighty Murray River with Echuca Paddlesteamers. Whether you are a history buff, steam buff, or simply looking for a fun day out, step back in time with us and discover what riverboat life was all about.
Once the main transport of cargo and passengers during the 1800s, the fully restored Paddlesteamers are a one hour cruise and are a “must do” experience. Explore the cabins, chat with the engineer or join the skipper for a steer in the wheelhouse!

Our friends from At Ease, Veteran Solutions are taking the lead on this Social's event, so come join us on the 16th of November in Echuca at 11:15am for a one hour boat ride down the Murray River.
