Well things didn’t got plan last night. Travelled up the hill the support working alongside alumni and . Went to make a 15m kick before the game and felt like someone shot me with a slug gun in the back of the calf. When I turned around and there was no one there I knew I had done a mischief on myself.

Long reflection post!!

As the rawness from yesterdays results starts to ease, I reflect on the success of the 2025 season with the . The women’s side, with a good cohort of first time players, had a season goal of making finals. To make the big dance and be competitive against Googong who hadn’t dropped a game all year exceeded expectations! To add salt to injury, the first grade men’s team who were minor premiers and undefeated all season could not get the result against Woden, a result which hurt very bad!

is incredibly fortunate to work with a club like the . A huge amount of work went into the 2025 season and to fall down at the final hurdle is not a reflection of how successful the club has been! Focus now turns to 2026 where the club will adjust to moving into men’s and women’s premier division in the competition
