Over the weekend some of our staff attended the APP pharmacy conference. We learnt about new products and innovations for pharmacy in the trade fair and extended full scope pharmacy training for prescribing as well as attending networking events with other colleagues.

If your child doesn’t like needles, book in for this years nasal flu spray vaccine available free for ages 2-5.
The vaccine is also approved for use up to the age of 17 years but will incur a private cost for those over 5 years.

We are now taking bookings for this years Fluvax available mid March. The vaccine is FREE again this year for all Queenslanders from 6 months of age.
Other vaccines such as Covid, Pneumococcal and RSV can be given at the same time. Discuss your options with one of our pharmacists.

If you are planning a trip, come and see us to book a travel consult. We are able to administer the vaccinations you will need and supply you with a travel kit of medication. Some vaccinations take time to give you the effective immunity so it is a good idea to come in a couple of months before travel.
