RSV vaccination has now been added
to the NIP and is available free to those over 75yrs. Make a booking as stock will become available from May 15th.

RSV leads to potential serious respiratory complications in older adults and significant numbers of hospitalisations each year.

We are pleased to announce that we will
now be partnering with “Respect” to service Alkira nursing home residents. This will ensure residents of our community will continue to receive timely access to their medication as well as continuity of care into their later stages of life.

It’s with sadness we farewell Macy before she leaves next Friday for a new position to take her career in exciting new directions. It has been great to see her grow over the last 5 years from a trainee who never worked in pharmacy to now having completed a Cert 4 in pharmacy. Please come and wish her well if you pass by the store this next week.

We often see more cases of people needing medication for cold sores after Easter. This is because eating too much chocolate depletes L-lysine levels.
The good news is you can still have your eggs and eat them too. Just remember to supplement with L-lysine if you are prone to cold sores and keep an antiviral cream or tablet on hand to use at the first sign of tingling or itching. 🐰🐣🍫
