More Medicare Mental Health Centres are opening around the country which offer free, walk-in support for mental health and wellbeing across Australia. No appointment or referral is needed, and you don’t need to be enrolled for Medicare, or have a Medicare card to walk in and get support.

For Western Sydney communities, there are two Medicare Mental Health Centres, available in Penrith & Parramatta. If you’re feeling down, stressed or anxious, call 1800 595 212 to speak to a mental health professional between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Things got a little spooky for Halloween at Toongabbie Family Practice. We were super scared to see our reception desk had been taken over by spiders over night. Happy Halloween 🎃

This week we celebrated Diwali, in the practice. We had a great day, nice lunch and beautiful sweets. It was great to leave the business suits at home and wear traditional attire.
