Not every exercise during pregnancy needs to be hard to be effective.

In fact, the right kind of gentle, controlled movement can make a big difference to how your body feels and functions.

This exercise — offerings on the reformer — focuses on:

âś” Gentle core engagement
âś” Postural control
âś” Upper body strength
âś” Breathing coordination

Here’s what to keep in mind:

❌ Don’t hold your breath
Breathing should stay relaxed and coordinated with movement.

❌ Don’t tense through your neck and shoulders
Keep the movement smooth and controlled.

❌ Don’t rush
This is about connection and control — not intensity.

Instead, focus on:
âś” Slow, controlled movement
âś” Coordinated breathing
âś” Staying relaxed while activating gently

Exercises like this help support:
• Postural changes during pregnancy
• Shoulder and upper back strength
• Core connection without strain

Pregnancy training isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about moving smarter.

📍 If you’re pregnant and unsure what exercises are safe or effective, book a Women’s Health Physio session at Procure Physio.

When you’re recovering from patellar tendinopathy, Phase 2 of rehab is where we start to build strength and improve tendon capacity.

Once pain is better controlled, the focus shifts to progressive strengthening of the quadriceps and surrounding muscles to help the patellar tendon tolerate higher loads. Stronger muscles mean better knee support and reduced tendon strain.

In this reel, we demonstrate 2 key strengthening exercises for Stage 2 rehab that help safely progress your recovery and prepare the knee for higher-level activities.

Consistency is key—perform these exercises as guided and progress gradually for the best results.
Disclaimer- these exercises are a suggestion and not a thumb rule for all. Please consider your physio/expert’s advise if you experience increased pain.
