RESTORATIVE YOGA.
What is it, anyway??
It’s finding deep rest.
It’s nervous system regulation.
It’s a slowing down -
of the breath, the body, and the mind.
How do we do it??
Through a quietly guided practice with postures that are passive , gentle & supported.
Through sending messages to the body that it is safe, supported, free to just be.
Through slowing down the breath.
Through increasing our internal awareness.
Why would we do it??
This therapeutic practice
May improve mood & anxiety;
May improve stress responses;
May improve emotional resilience;
May increase clarity & focus;
Neural repair and immune recovery may happen;
Physical tension may be released;
Or
you may just enjoy feeling nurtured & nourished.
