Patients always ask whether lymphatic massage is more helpful or hindrance when it comes to post-op recovery.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. If it helps you feel better and it’s done well, it can be a useful optional support but it's not a requirement for healing.

Don't be alarmed if you notice one side is healing faster than the other after surgery.

Asymmetrical swelling, bruising, and discomfort are incredibly common, even when both sides are treated identically.
