Any time we post about surgical costs, we inevitably receive comments from people saying how much cheaper it is to go overseas, but is it really as cheap as you've been led to believe?

If a patient needs revisions after their initial surgery, no matter how minor, they can face either needing to pay for another overseas trip with their initial surgeon or the difficult task of finding a willing surgeon in Australia.
