đź’š An Important Update for Our Community đź’š
With very full hearts, we’re sharing that the time has come to close this chapter of our Containers for Change 10c recyclables journey. This initiative has been the backbone of fundraising for Help Hudson Hear, and what an incredible, life-changing journey it has truly been.
Over the past six years, Hudson has returned an astonishing 1.4 million containers. This effort has not only made a profound financial difference for Hudson’s future, but it has also required an enormous commitment from our entire family. While it has been deeply rewarding, it has also been physically and emotionally demanding, and we’ve reached a point where we need to gently slow the pace to protect our family’s wellbeing.
There are simply no words that could fully express our gratitude. So many of you have given your time, your energy, your containers, and your kindness so selflessly. We could write a novel thanking each and every one of you — please know that your support has never gone unnoticed and will always be held close to our hearts.
This is not the end of fundraising for Help Hudson Hear. We are absolutely committed to continuing to give Hudson every opportunity possible, just in a way that better balances with family life. Through bake stalls, raffles, Containers for Change, and community events, together we have raised an incredible $230,000 of the $360,000 needed. That achievement belongs to all of you, and it truly blows us away.
We will be concluding our Containers for Change pickup journey at the end of January, with pickups available for one week either side of this date.
