Honouring change and light this Halloween 🕯️🍂
Long before pumpkins and costumes, Halloween (or Samhain) marked the turning of the seasons — the end of harvest and the beginning of rest.
It was a time to honour ancestors, embrace change, and keep the inner light glowing as the darker months began.

A beautiful reminder that transformation is part of every cycle — in nature, in health, and within ourselves. 🌿✨

7am–9am: Stomach | Earth Element
This is your body’s prime time to receive nourishment.

The Earth element brings stability, groundedness, and care. The stomach transforms food into energy, and also reflects how you “digest life.”

Weak Earth energy can show up as bloating, worry, sugar cravings, or difficulty feeling centred.

🌿 Gentle tip: Eat a warm, hearty breakfast—slowly and mindfully. Congee, porridge, or steamed veggies can support strong digestive fire.

Transformation can happen quietly.
These flowers started with a deep pink hue, and within days, turned almost white — still just as beautiful, just different.

Change in us often happens the same way — subtle, steady, and sometimes unnoticed until we look back. 🌸

5am–7am: Large Intestine | Metal Element
The large intestine helps you eliminate waste—physically and emotionally.

This is still Metal time, inviting you to release what you don’t need. That includes toxins, old thoughts, stuck emotions, and energetic clutter.

A morning bowel movement is more than routine—it’s a cleansing ritual. Holding on (emotionally or physically) can lead to tension, dryness, or fatigue.

🌿 Gentle tip: Drink warm water first thing. You might also try journaling or gentle stretches to support morning flow and release.

Hae-Uk is rocking her new splint in full colour while she takes some time to heal and recharge.
A good reminder that even when things don’t go as planned, there’s always a way to add a little brightness to the moment. 🩷💚💙
Sending her lots of warmth, rest, and sunshine while she takes this time to recover.

3am–5am: Lungs | Metal Element
The lungs are where inspiration begins—governing breath, immunity, and the circulation of protective Qi.

The Metal element brings clarity, structure, and the ability to let go. Emotionally, it connects to grief and the process of healthy release.

This is a sacred time for stillness. If you're waking often during these hours, it may be a sign of unresolved sadness or a weakened immune system.

🌿 Gentle tip: Start the day with deep breathing or fresh morning air. Herbal teas like pear, ginger, or licorice can soothe and strengthen lung Qi.

1am–3am: Liver | Wood Element
The liver is responsible for the free flow of Qi, blood storage, and detoxification—physically and emotionally.

Wood energy needs direction. When blocked, it can create irritability, anger, and hormonal imbalance. This is a powerful time for the body to regenerate—if you’re asleep.

🌿 Gentle tip: Avoid alcohol or heavy food before bed. Liver Qi flows best with movement during the day and deep rest at night.

Enjoy the long weekend! 🧡💚

11pm–1am: Gallbladder | Wood Element
The gallbladder governs decision-making, judgment, and clarity of direction.

The Wood element is about growth, vision, and planning. If you’re awake or restless now, it may reflect stress, frustration, or uncertainty.

This is the time to be deeply asleep so your body can detox and your spirit can reset.

🌿 Gentle tip: Aim to be in bed before 11pm. Reduce stimulants and avoid late-night thinking. Sleep is your clearest guide.
