Such a great day out for Julie! ✨
Julie and her support worker enjoyed an amazing outing exploring the stunning insect exhibit held here in Toowoomba at the Cobb & Co Museum. They took their time wandering through each display, admiring the incredible colours, textures and fascinating details of the insects on show. After that, they made their way into the interactive science room, where Julie loved getting hands-on with the different activities and learning more about the world around her.

The day finished perfectly with a much-needed coffee and lunch at the café, giving Julie a chance to relax, reflect and chat about everything she discovered. Julie continues to show such strength, determination and enthusiasm as she works toward her personal goals, and experiences like today’s big exhibition play such an important role in building her confidence and connection within the community. 🦋☕️💛✨

🚗✨ Cruising Into Calm with Deakon ✨🌿

Recently, during his respite stay, Deakon took the opportunity to proudly show off his car collection while enjoying a peaceful and relaxing evening. Even while away from home, he maintained his nightly routines, ensuring consistency and comfort alongside some well-deserved fun.

Respite care is such an important part of supporting participants, their families, and support teams. It provides a safe environment outside the home where individuals can recharge, explore their interests, and enjoy meaningful independence. For Deakon, that meant car conversations, downtime, and the freedom to simply be himself - all while keeping the structure that helps him feel secure.

These intentional breaks support emotional wellbeing, confidence, and resilience - essential ingredients for living life to the fullest.

🌍✨ A Dream Come True for Alex! ✨🌍

We are incredibly proud of Alex for taking a massive leap toward accomplishing her 2025 goal! After months of planning, organisation and personal growth, she took those final courageous steps down the tunnel and boarded her flight with strength and determination.

With a tear in our eyes, we watched her take off on a journey she’s dreamt of for so long - travelling all the way to the UK to visit her family. This has been a long-lived dream for Alex, and we are deeply honoured to have been part of her journey in making it a reality.

The mental preparation, patience and resilience through her anxiety has truly paid off, as she has now safely landed in London for a very well-deserved Christmas break. 🎄✈️

Alex, we are going to miss you so much over this Christmas period, but we cannot wait to see you in 2026 Your courage inspires us all. Here’s to new beginnings, lifelong memories and the power of believing in yourself. 🩵

There’s something special about a spring clean - the way it clears not just our spaces, but our minds. This month, Alex has been embracing that fresh-start feeling, giving her home a beautiful reset as she prepares for a new beginning.

With her support workers by her side, the focus has been on teamwork, encouragement, and making the process enjoyable. Daily living chores become lighter and more meaningful when shared, and support workers play an important role in helping keep routines positive, organised, and empowering.

Spring cleaning isn’t just about dusting and decluttering - it’s about creating space for new opportunities, new energy, and a clearer path forward. And that’s exactly what Alex has done.

Lately, he’s been exploring the scenic trails of Picnic Point, taking time to enjoy the peaceful charm, fresh air, and breathtaking views that make the spot so special. From the winding paths to the lookouts, Andrew has truly embraced the calm and beauty of the outdoors.

Did someone say it’s time to let your hair down?!

Maria and Karlie certainly did just that last week when they enjoyed a fantastic evening at the Toowoomba Empire Theatre to see Maria’s all-time favourite, Suzi Quatro. The atmosphere was electric, with fans of all ages coming together to celebrate one of rock’s most iconic performers.

From the moment Suzi hit the stage, the crowd was on their feet. From Devil Gate Drive to Stumblin in, Maria and Karlie sang along to every word, completely caught up in the energy of the night! Suzi’s powerful stage presence, timeless hits, and infectious spirit made it a performance to remember.

It was an evening filled with laughter, singing, and plenty of dancing - a night that truly captured the joy of live music and the magic of sharing those moments with great company.

What a night to remember, and memories to treasure for years to come.

We’re currently seeking dedicated, reliable, and heart-led Support Workers to join our growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing person-centred support that empowers clients to live with dignity, independence, and joy
• Assisting with daily living, community access, personal care, and meaningful activities
• Building strong, respectful relationships with clients, families, and your team
• Bringing initiative, reliability, and positive energy to every shift

What We’re Looking For
• A genuine passion for helping others
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Initiative and accountability — people who do what they say they will
• Experience in disability support (preferred but not essential)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card, and current First Aid/CPR
