Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is a leading cause of vision loss in people 50 years and older and is a common condition that affects the macula (the central part of the retina), often causing blurriness, distortion, or dark spots in your vision.
As we welcome in the month of February, it is important to acknowledge it as AMD awareness month.
For further information about AMD and what it might mean for you, visit Darling Downs Optometrist or call (07) 4638 8828
Awareness and regular eye exams can make all the difference!
