These are the most common complaints I hear from participants and their families — and exactly how Level Up is different.

It’s why we’ve got genuine reviews from real participants.
It’s why support coordinators and plan managers recommend us.
It’s why carers want to work for us.
Because people see and feel the difference.

🚫 Carers lack disability awareness
👉 Too often, carers don’t have the knowledge to provide real support. Many of our team came from other providers because they saw what was missing. At Level Up, we do it differently — with awareness, experience, and passion to get it right.

🚫 Poor carer matching
✅ Getting the right worker is more than filling a roster. It’s about personality, life experience, goals, and needs. When the fit is right, it feels like family. If it’s not, we’ll fix it fast.

🚫 High staff turnover = no consistency
✅ Many say their biggest frustration is constantly meeting new carers. At Level Up, our team has stayed since the beginning. That stability builds trust.

🚫 Poor communication
👉 You always get a direct line to me. Text first (quick & simple), then call if needed. I want to know you and your needs personally.

🚫 Carers don’t feel valued
👉 When carers feel respected and supported, they give their best. At Level Up we invest in our team’s wellbeing so their energy goes straight into supporting you.

We have capacity — and we always will — because carers want to work with us.

You don’t need to leave your provider. Just try one shift with Level Up. (Yes — you can use two providers at once).

WEEK IN REVIEW

Everything was on track this week.

2 x Runs ✅
3 x Resistance Training ✅
Calories on track ✅

Some friction that came in was I am always out of the house for lunch and clients want to go to a cafe etc for lunch. I had to have the discipline to eat my prepared lunch in a cafe. Weird feeling

I made sure I cooked dinner that had easy to store leftovers and easy to track foods. I also saved these recipes in My Fitness Pal so I can make them again.

I didn’t feel hungry often but for when I did I had a piece of fruit in the car to hold me over.

I didn’t want to go for my first run. It was more cold and foggy than expected. My wife called me out so I went 😮‍💨 no regrets

🥇 GOAL PROGRESSION 🥇
Bench - 100kg for 1
Dead - 110kg for 8
Squat - Didn’t do this week
5km run - 39m53 second
Body Fat % - 24.7%

Life is easier with a purpose and plan. Without something concrete to strive for why would you strive?

Make a goal, no matter how small, and focus on it.

Make your bed everyday
Complete the dishes before bed each night

If you don’t work a CONSCIOUS plan, your unconscious plan will work you.

Life is seasons and we are out of hibernation. Where do you want to be at the start of summer?

It is starting to warm up and the days are beginning to get longer. It’s time to set some goals for the last half of the year.

My goals are as follows;
🏃I want to be faster than the average lifter
💪 I want to be stronger than the average runner
⚖️ Lose some body fat

That is too subjective though, for a goal to be attainable you need to make it quantifiable and completable.

Such as;
👉 Run a 30 minute 5k
👉 Bench 100kg for 3 reps
👉 Deadlift 150kgs for 3 reps
👉 Squat 150kgs for 3 reps
👉 Drop to 20% body fat

If I want to achieve this by the first day of summer I need to work backwards because these things won’t magically happen.

👉 Run twice a week (Wed and Sun AM)
👉 Resistance train 3 times a week (between clients or early mornings)
👉 Eat in a deficit (Monday - Friday: 2000 calories, Saturday - Sunday: 2500 calories)
👉 Daily protein of 150g

I’ll follow this plan for a week and then see where the friction comes in, because there will be friction, then I’ll adjust.

When Charles Darwin spoke of natural selection as “survival of the fittest”, he didn’t mean the strongest or the most aggressive survive. By “fittest” he meant “the organism being best adapted to their environment”.

Improvise. Adapt. Overcome 💪

Start with WHY you want it?
(Faster than a lifter)
Then continue you with WHAT you want?
(30 minute 5km)
Then specifically HOW you will get it?
(Run Wednesday and Sunday AM)

Where do you want to be by summer?
Do you need help breaking down your goals to something measurable and achievable?

DM me why you can’t achieve your goals and I’ll give you a practical step to move forwards with it

I don’t talk it, unless I walk it.
My advice holds no weight unless I live it.

The Solomon Paradox says we’re often better at giving others advice than following our own.

King Solomon, one of the wisest kings in the Bible, was known for solving people’s problems with clarity and insight. People would come to him for advice because he was able to give them a perspective on their problems that they could not see.

But here’s the paradox—his own life was in chaos. Undisciplined, consumed by desires, he failed to apply the very wisdom he gave to others to himself.

Don’t just be a Solomon for others. Be a Solomon for yourself. Treat yourself like someone you’re responsible for.

If you came to you and asked, “How can I improve my life?” — what would you say?

“Don’t just explain your philosophy, embody it.” — Epictetus

Its a new day ~~
It’s a new week ~~
It’s a new chance to do those things you PROMISED yourself you would do

What is stopping you now? Would your future self look at it as a reason or just another excuse

What do you need to do to win the day?
AKA - Impress your future self?

Whatever you immediately thought —— go do that?

If you can’t go do that —— why not?

Would your future self approve of this reason or would they label it just another excuse?

If they approve of this reason - negotiate with your future self. Get clear on it.
What do we need to do to win?
When will we do it?
What barriers will we have?

Your future self is watching you through your memories. Are they full of pride or regret?

Make your future self proud. Win the day, win the week and soon you will be winning in life.

Future you is already watching. It’s time to win 🥇

First park run in Toowoomba and Ethan’s first 5km!

Ethan has exceptional motivation and lofty goals. We break them down and work towards them methodically.

Where he is now compared to where he was 18 months ago is extraordinary and he still has places to go and goals to kick

Quality support work is walking (or running) beside someone to help them be all they can be. Not just doing it for them, but having them stretch just outside of their comfort zone for continual growth. 1% better everyday!

If this is the sort of support you want for yourself or your loved one, send us a DM or call us on 0447564448 🙏

HEARTWARMING: Joe Ingles has a son diagnosed with autism who had never been able to watch his father play due to the sensory overload of NBA games. Jacob Ingles attended his first game when the Timberwolves played the Pelicans earlier in the week, however, Joe Ingles did not receive any minutes.

The next game with his son in attendance again, Timberwolves coach Chris Finch not only decided to play Joe Ingles, but gave him his first start in 3 years 🥹
