Nurture Holistic Massage

Nurture Holistic Massage Nurturing women through their Pregnancy, Postpartum and Motherhood journey, and beyond. Hello and welcome to my page.

My name is Trina Woods, I am a Remedial Massage Therapist specialising in Women's wellbeing through Massage and Reiki. I bring nearly 8 years of massage experience to my practice, and as a Mum to 3 now teenage lads, I know firsthand the joys, and the challenges of Motherhood, especially in those early days. In 2016, I completed my Practitioner of Pregnancy Massage with the highly accredited Pregnancy Massage Australia. In 2017 I went on to complete Advanced training in Postnatal Massage and Partner Training in Labour Massage. I like to refresh these courses biannually so I am always up to date with the latest research, and techniques. In 2019, I volunteered my time with Helping Hands, a beautiful organisation supporting bereaved parents who had suffered loss through miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal loss. Sadly, this organisation has since folded, but I am proud to be a part of a new research project working with pregnant women who have experienced a stillbirth. I'm looking forward to sharing more details soon. Currently, I am refreshing the Partner Training in Labour Massage course and am super excited to be offering small group and one on one sessions early 2023. A beautiful offering for birthing couples to learn massage techniques to help through labour and create a deeper connection as they journey into parenthood. I love working with all women no matter where they are at on their health journey. My aim is to offer services and a space where women can feel held, heard, nurtured, educated and cared for through Pregnancy, Birth, Postpartum, into Motherhood and Beyond. Thank you for being here, I look forward to meeting you and nurturing you through your wellbeing journey. Trina x

Your 6 week clearance?
It’s not the finish line.

It’s the beginning of real healing.

Because no one is checking:
- how your scar is moving
- how your fascia is behaving
- how your core is functioning
- how your nervous system is holding
- if your digestion has been affected

And this is where so many women disconnect from their bodies…their womb-space.
Thinking, “this is just how it is now.”

Please believe me when I tell you, it’s not!

You CAN heal. 🫶

Your body is incredibly intelligent.
And with the right support, healing can go so much deeper.

If something feels off - tight, numb, pulling, disconnected, don’t ignore it.

This work can be life changing.

If this resonates, I would love to support you in your C-section scar healing journey, or please share with your Belly birthing Mumma friends. 💕

We are still in Endometriosis awareness month, and as a fellow Endo Warrior, I want you to know that I see you.

I see your pain.

I see your frustration.

I see a body that is fatigued.

I see the mental health impact.

I see how debilitating it can be.

Endometriosis affects 1 in 9 women and those assigned female at birth.

Pain is not always reflective of the extent of the condition.

Research is increasingly recognising that its impact can extend beyond reproductive/pelvic organs.

It can impact the nervous system, digestion, fertility, immunity, emotional and mental wellbeing.

Support requires a whole-body, multidisciplinary approach.

💛 Whole body conditions deserve whole person care 💛

As a women’s health bodyworker and Endometriosis advocate. I offer support that is nurturing, integrative, and deeply respectful of your body’s story, creating safety so your body can soften, regulate, and begin to restore.

This work sits beautifully alongside your wider support team, including Women’s Health Physios, Naturopaths, and Medical care as part of a truly holistic approach.

If you’re feeling called to explore a more connected, body-led way of supporting your Endometriosis journey I’m here to hold that space with you 🤍

If you have any questions I’m always here to answer them.

With my clients permission I am sharing her journey over the last 6 weeks.

She was first referred to me from her Women’s Health Physio to help with scar healing following 2 Laparoscopic surgeries for Endometriosis.

Her nervous system was on edge and her breath was shallow.

She had a tight pelvic floor, fascial restriction, discomfort when exercising, and abdominal pain when standing for long periods.

She was taking strong prescription medications each month for her pain.

🌱 After her first appointment she felt a shift.

6 weeks on, and after 3 treatments, she is feeling calmer in her body, enjoying movement and exercise, has significantly reduced her pain medication and is feeling more confident in her body.

This work continues to amaze me.

Optimising the breath.

Releasing fascia.

Increasing lymphatic flow.

Nurturing touch.

Women are good at enduring pain, but we don’t have to.

If you are looking for support on your Endometriosis journey, I would love to meet you. Or reach out if you would like to chat, my DM’s are always open.

48 laps around the sun…

It is not lost on me what a privilege it is to turn another year older. I have lost friends and dear ones who never got the chance to make it this far and I choose to live fully for them.

I believe deeply that with privilege comes responsibility. Standing in care and advocacy for those who face greater barriers, ensuring their experiences are honoured, their voices amplified and their needs not forgotten.

In my workspace that looks like my responsibility to keep learning, to keep educating and advocating for change in women’s health.

I step into this next year with deep gratitude.
Less rushing.
More presence.
More reverence for the quiet work of healing.
A deeper devotion to this path than ever before.

Women’s health matters. Always.

In love and compassion,

This International Women’s Day reminds me that real change happens when women are supported heard and cared for - socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Women carry so much in their bodies.
Grief.
Trauma.
Birth stories.
Scars.
Strength.
Beauty.
Resilience.
Hormonal shifts.
Wisdom.

We need to keep working toward and fighting for women’s rights, justice and action for ALL women and girls.

In my small corner of the world that action looks like holding space, reminding women of their innate wisdom to reconnect with their bodies and empowering them in their own healing.

Taking some words of wisdom from .com.au.
“True progress will not come from telling women how broken their bodies are. It will come from helping women come home to the strength, beauty and intelligence that has always been there.”

✨ Honouring women today and every day 🩷

There’s something deeply honourable about choosing ongoing support. Not because you’re “broken”, but because you’re committed to feeling regulated, clear and deeply connected in your body.

Reiki works gently, yet can be a profound experience.

It supports the nervous system to shift out of fight-or-flight and gently move into rest-and-restore.

It softens muscular guarding that often has an emotional root.

It helps regulate overwhelm, and emotional heaviness.

It creates space for clarity when the mind feels foggy or overloaded.

It allows the body to integrate physical treatments more deeply - adding in Massage to your treatment allows a deeper sense of letting go.

Many women tell me they:
- sleep more soundly
- feel lighter, emotionally
- notice less tension in their shoulders and jaw
- feel more present with their families
- experience a deeper connection to themselves

In a season of life where women are holding so much - work, motherhood, relationships, expectations. Having a space where you are simply held, supported and energetically nourished matters.

If you’ve been feeling stretched, overstimulated or disconnected from yourself, this is your gentle reminder that support doesn’t have to be hard or dramatic.

Sometimes it’s subtle.

Sometimes it’s quiet.

But it can be deeply restorative.

And your nervous system will thank you for it 🤍

Please reach out anytime if you have any questions regarding any of my treatments. My DM’s are always open.

✨ C-Section Scar Transformation | 8 weeks postpartum (with permission to share)✨

It’s been a while since I’ve shared one of these and I honestly cannot get enough of the results. 🔥 This is after 1x 90 minute treatment.

At around 8 weeks postpartum, a caesarean scar may appear healed at the surface. However, true recovery continues well beyond the visible incision.

This beautiful Mumma presented with sensations of pulling, tightness and numbness through and around her scar, and a reduced sense of connection through her core and pelvis. While she experienced a positive birth, these can all be common experiences following caesarean birth.

A C-section involves cutting through multiple layers of tissue, including skin, fascia, lymph, and muscle. As the body heals, these layers can adhere, creating restriction within the fascial and lymphatic systems. This may influence posture, breathing mechanics, pelvic stability, core activation and the way a woman moves and inhabits her body postpartum.

C-section Scar Release is an intentional treatment that works beyond the superficial scar and the deeper connective tissues. We release through the thoracic, the whole abdomen and pelvis, while restoring calm and lymphatic flow.

Within the session, we aim to:
- reduce scar adhesions
- restore mobility and hydration within the tissue
- improve circulation, lymph flow and sensory awareness
- support functional core and pelvic floor integration
- reduce compensatory tension patterns held elsewhere in the body

As the physical tissue begins to soften, many women experience a parallel emotional shift — a sense of grounding, safety and reconnection with their body after the physical and emotional demands of surgery and birth.

You will also be supported with tools and techniques to continue at home and so you can feel empowered in your own healing.

Your scar is part of your birth story. 🤍

ALL women deserve restorative care post birth.

I look forward to sharing more of this beautiful Mumma’s healing journey.

If this work resonates, my DM’s are always open for questions. ❤️‍🔥
